Case Description:
Ms. Yuan Zexiu, around 60 years old, lived in Yidao Village, Yidao Town, Laizhou City, Shandong Province. After 1999, she was arrested and subjected to brainwashing many times. Around May 1, 2004, when she and another practitioner, Mr. Li Guochun, handed out truth clarification materials, they were both arrested. A few months later they were illegally sent to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp. The labor camp didn't accept Ms. Yuan because of her illness. She returned home to Laizhou City on parole. On January 25, 2005, Ms. Yuan passed away. To date, Mr. Li Guochun is still detained at Wangcun Forced Labor Camp.
