Practitioner Ms. Kong Qingfen, 62 years old, lived in Xinhuali, the Muping District, Yantai City, Shandong Province. She was detained numerous times for her belief and was extorted out of nearly 20,000 yuan. In 2001 she was arrested and sent to a brainwashing class. She jumped from the second floor of a building to escape her persecutors and fractured her hip and legs. She passed away on February 26, 2002.
