Case Description:
Practitioner Mr. Lian Shangqing, 77 years old, lived in the Wumahe District, Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province. He was a retired cadre from the Armuer Forest Bureau in Daxinganling Area. In the spring of 1997, he started practicing Dafa and benefited tremendously. On January 22, 2000, his son, grandson and granddaughter validated the wonders of Dafa and were arrested, detained and sent to forced labor. Lian Shangqing was devastated. The police kept harassing and threatening him. He passed away on April 8, 2001.
