Case Description:
Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Sun Jianqiu, in his 40s, was a farmer in Changle County, Shandong Province. In January 2001, Mr. Sun was arrested and sent to the local detention center, and he went on a hunger strike for more than 20 days. He was then sentenced to forced labor at the Wangchun Labor Camp. He died when someone struck him on the head while he was doing Falun Dafa exercises.
