Case Description:
Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Hua Yuli, 39, lived in Houtai Village, Zhongbeixie Town, the Xiqing District, Tianjin City. Around noon on May 22, 2005, she was arrested by plainclothes police officers, detained at the Xiqing District Detention Center, and later transferred to Dabianzhuang Detention Center. Her family was not allowed to visit her until the end of January 2006, when she was dying and was released to receive medical treatment. She was very weak as a result of being tortured in the detention centers, and her mind was not clear. Her family sent her to the hospital, where she died on June 9, 2006.
