Case Description:
Dafa practitioner Xiao Chengrui, male, 52, a former worker at Chongqing City Textile Factory, was kidnapped by police while clarifying the truth of Falun Gong at the Xiaoquan Hotel on January 2, 2002. He was later sent to Jiangbei Detention Center and brutally tortured. In early July, police sent Xiao Chengrui home because he was on the verge of death. Xiao Chengrui passed away on July 17, 2002.
