Doing the exercises. Posters show how the practice has been welcomed around the world but suppressed in China. Many tourists from China observed.

Tourists from China read about Falun Gong.

A tourist from China took many pictures of the activity and said that she wanted to show the pictures to her friends in China. A practitioner said that they would like to let more people in China know that the practice was legal, widely practiced, and highly regarded in other countries.

In a small park in front of the train station, the practitioners displayed many posters with information about the practice and how practitioners in China are being tortured for their belief. The activity attracted many tourists from China, who were shopping nearby. Many of them came to read the posters.

Ms. Lin was a teacher. She has been a practitioner for five years. After she started the practice, she became healthy and happy. Her relationship with her husband improved tremendously. Ms. Tu said that, because of the practice, her mother, who used to have memory problems and high blood pressure, recovered and no longer needs treatments.

Mr. Lin often goes to the train station to hand out informational fliers. He said that most people from China feel positively toward Falun Gong. They are just afraid to take the fliers in public because of the persecution. However, at times he did have Chinese tourists help him give out fliers to other tourists.
