Greetings, fellow practitioners!

At the end of 2010, a practitioner from another town was arrested when clarifying the truth. This town has very few practitioners, yet had a brainwashing center. Many people there are still not clear about the truth about Falun Gong. Master taught us, “The next person's things are your things, and your things are his things.” (“Teaching the Fa at the Washington, D.C. Fa Conference”) Practitioners in our area were very anxious to help rescue her. We shared our understanding, and decided to go to her village to collect signatures for a petition, clarify the truth, save people, and rescue our fellow practitioner.

Five of us went, and along with two local practitioners we formed three groups. I was teamed up with a practitioner who only began cultivating two months ago. I was so moved by her strong righteous thoughts, as she dared to step out to rescue a fellow disciple even though she had just started practicing Dafa. We went from door to door to tell people, “Someone in your village was arrested just because she cultivates according to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. This is illegal, and she should be released.” Many villagers were very kind and willing to sign their names on the petition. They accepted our truth clarification. But there were some people poisoned deeply by the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) propaganda.

Man Curses at First, Then Signs His Name

When we were walking near a family, someone came out to ask us what we were doing. I said a few things and then she began commenting on how she thought Falun Gong practitioners passing out materials was wrong. I knew she did not know the truth yet. I saw three more people in the house and thought we had to go in to save them. I asked, “Sister, can you let us inside to warm up a bit?” She said sure. We had just arrived at the door when a man who was sitting on a bench asked me what we were doing. As soon as I explained to him, he started to curse. He said, “I won't sign. Let her be sentenced to 10 or 20 years.” I immediately asked Master to strengthen us and to dissolve the evil factors behind that person.

After this righteous thought was sent forth, I remembered a recent realization I had during Fa-study: “One strong mind can lead a whole dimension. I take the lead in this domain!” I then turned to the older lady, “Big sister, sorry to bother you in this cold weather. If she had done something wrong, we wouldn't be here. But she did nothing wrong to be a good person. It is almost the New Year holiday, and we cannot ignore the fact that a good person is suffering in prison. Please help by signing your name!” She signed.

The man on the bench was still saying bad words. I did not have hatred nor blame, but felt he was pitiful for not knowing the truth. I turned to him, and said, “Big brother, we know we're bothering you today. Whether you sign or don't sign, we thank you sincerely.” He was so shocked upon hearing my words. I further explained to him how I understood him, and about how we have all lived through so many of the CCP's political movements: “The CCP does not have any legitimate reasons behind its campaigns, but just attacks people at will. Remember the Cultural Revolution? I feel ashamed that I sinned against Liu Shaoqi.” [Editor's Note: Liu Shaoqi was the CCP head of state in the 1960s, who was later denounced and ousted by Mao during the Cultural Revolution.]

Looking at me, he was surprised. I said, “In school, I wrote so many articles denouncing Liu. It was the result of the CCP one-voice media that deceived us. We all sinned by following CCP propaganda.” He nodded and said, “Yes, yes.” I said, “Let's look at Falun Gong. Jiang Zemin staged the Tiananmen 'self-immolation', and persecuted kind people. People in more than thirty countries have sued him in more than 50 courts. The day the truth gets revealed is coming soon. We can clearly see what the final outcome will be.” He smiled and signed his name. We were happy for him from the bottom of our hearts because he positioned himself correctly.

“A Request for Help”

We passed another house which was very beautiful, and only a couple was at home. Upon explaining why we were there, the man picked up his cell phone to call the police station. My partner was worried and pulled my shirt lightly. I spoke loudly, “He is calling to help us request her release!” I asked Master non-stop to dissolve all evil factors in other dimensions that were causing him to join in the persecution. We heard him say on the phone, “Two Falun Gong practitioners came to my house to collect signatures for a petition for the release of another practitioner. Is that useful? Should I sign my name?” He smiled and told us that the police said it might work. He signed, and his wife also signed. I thanked Master for helping us break apart the danger! Just like Master said in Zhuan Falun, "one good can overcome a hundred evils."

Saving a Son

When we first entered one particular house's front yard, a strange thought came into my mind: “Someone in this home is about to die.” I quickly walked in, and found a young man lying down in the east room, an old man in the west room, and three to four people in the north room. The atmosphere felt heavy. My partner knew the family and asked what had happened. They told us that their son was trying to commit suicide, and no one could persuade him not to. At that time, Master's words were reflected in my mind,

“if you really come across terrible things like murder or arson and you ignore them, that’s a xinxing problem. (“Teaching the Fa at a New York Meeting,” Lectures in the United States)

I thought it was not accidental that I was meeting with these people. I must help save their child. I walked in the east room and said, “Do you know I practice Falun Gong? We cultivate the universal Great Law. Everyone in this world needs to assimilate to the characteristic of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. My Master teaches me to be a good person wherever I go, and to think of others first. I am very anxious for you! You should also be thinking of others now. Your parents raised you, and you have not returned your appreciation yet. You just want to escape when coming across unhappiness, isn't that selfish? How will your parents live when you die? I will also tell you a truth: suicide is a sin.”

I kept talking to him about many principles of how to be a good person. Color came back into his face as he listened to me. His eyes began to light up. I knew Master had saved him, otherwise he would have died. I then turned around to his parents. Later, they both signed the petition with joy. They thanked me and saw us out.

Each time before I go out to save beings, I always heshi in front of Master's photo and ask, “Master, your disciple is going out to save people now. Please give me wisdom during those critical moments!” My trips have been very successful. From working on the petition, I have realized that if we listen to Master, and we do not get moved by false images, we can save people!
