1. [Shulan, Jilin Province] Mr. Wang Wenpeng Sentenced to a Twelve Year Prison Term and Tortured

In 2004 practitioner Mr. Wang Wenpeng was sentenced to a twelve year prison term and taken to Shiling Prison, Siping City, Jilin Province. The prison recently intensified the torture to try to force him to renounce Falun Dafa.

2. [Jilin Province] Mr. Li Guangshi Locked in a Solitary Cell

Practitioner Mr. Li Guangshi, a man of Korean ethnicity, is imprisoned at the 2nd Ward of Jilin Prison. The guards transferred him to a solitary cell, where he was held for more than two months for doing the Falun Gong exercises. He was brutally tortured, including being forbidden to wear underwear or socks. He was only wearing a winter coat and pants. The heater was not in good working condition and the window was kept open, so snow accumulated in the cell. Mr. Li had to sit still and was provided only two bowls of watery corn porridge daily.

3. [Dalian, Liaoning Province] Both Ms. Li Yanping and Her Son Arrested

Police from the Longwangtang Police Station drove to Dashidong Village to arrest practitioners Ms. Li Yanping and her son on December 12, 2011. They ransacked their home. Ms. Li Yanping is being detained at Yaojia Detention Center.

4. [Wafangdian, Liaoning Province] Ms. Sun Guixiang Arrested

Four police officers from the Fude Police Station arrested Ms. Sun Guixiang on the morning of December 8, 2011. Ms. Sun is still being detained at the Yaojia Detention Center in Dalian.

5. [Lanxi, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Wu Yuejuan and Other Practitioners Persecuted

Police officers Xu Linyuan, Qian Hongfei and Teng Fei from the Lanxi Domestic Security Division arrested Ms. Xu Chunhua, in her 60s, and Ms. Wu Yuejuan, in her mid-50s, at their homes on October 8, 2011 and ransacked their homes.

6. [Yingcheng, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhang Jun-an Arrested

On the evening of December 15, 2011, police from the Yihe Police Station arrested practitioner Mr. Zhang Jun-an, who was posting truth clarification materials about Falun Gong on Yihe street. They confiscated Mr. Zhang's taxi. Mr. Zhang is being detained at the Yingcheng 2nd Detention Center.
