(Minghui.org) I was once a hepatitis B patient, and I took medication all the time. To cure the disease, I cut down on other living expenses and spent most of my hard-earned money on medicine. I frequented the hospital and got acquainted with the doctors. Dr. M always introduced what he called “good” medicine to me whenever it was available. He said, “Taking good medicine can stabilize the condition. It is good as long as it keeps the condition from deteriorating further.” Modern medical science still had no cure for hepatitis B.
In 1996, I began practicing Falun Gong. Within one year, my physical condition improved remarkably, and I became very energetic.
My husband is a policeman. He did not support my practicing after the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started persecuting Falun Gong because he was criticized by police department leaders at a meeting. He was even threatened with expulsion from the police force. He was very upset. One day when he and my younger brother were drinking, I said to them, “See, I regained my health after practicing Falun Gong!” My husband said in disbelief, “I will believe in Falun Gong if you get a positive report from the hospital.”
To prove it, I went to the hospital for a test. When I showed Dr. M the test results, he asked happily, “How did you recover?” I told him that the recovery is attributable to my practicing Falun Gong. He said excitedly, “You are really recovered. You are healed!” I am happy too. To convince the local police department that Falun Gong has a miraculous effect on the mind and body, I showed them this report as well as a previous one. I was well-known as a sick woman before, and now I am a healthy person. However, the deputy director in charge of the persecution against Falun Gong questioned me, “Are you here to promote Falun Gong?” I was thus illegally detained for 15 days.
I was told after my release that the deputy director took my test report and secretly went to Dr. M for verification. It is undeniable that Falun Gong has miraculous power for the mind and body.
