Those Who Yell Hysterically in San Francisco Chinatown Aren't Falun Gong Practitioners

July 05, 2012 |   By a Falun Gong practitioner in the San Francisco Area

(Minghui.org) Since the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) accessory beat Falun Gong practitioners in San Francisco Chinatown on June 10, 2012, Falun Gong practitioners in San Francisco area have been distributing DVDs to businesses, passersby and tourists, and telling them about what Falun Gong is and the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong.

Jingjun Chin, the man in red who was one of the attackers, used to curse Falun Gong at the northeast corner of Grant and Washington. But he disappeared after Falun Gong practitioners started exposing the crimes of the CCP there. Falun Gong practitioners put an umbrella printed with “Falun Dafa is great! Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance are great!” on the black metal case in the street corner, and hung pictures of Falun Dafa around the world.

However, two middle-aged women started going there and yelling hysterically every afternoon, and they were mistaken by some as Falun Gong practitioners. What they did was an interference of Falun Gong practitioners' activities and damaged the image of Falun Gong practitioners. We Falun Gong practitioners in the San Francisco area are making this public announcement to clarify the identity of these two women and to warn them to stop what they are doing immediately.

The two women are Wendy Fang and Stephanie Lu. Both of them used to be followers of Peng, who undermined Falun Dafa in Hong Kong and had an extensive history of crooked understandings of Falun Dafa. Regarding Peng and her followers, Falun Gong's founder Mr. Li Hongzhi published “Drive Out Interference”, which stated at the end,

“Those irrational wretches are now under the manipulation of secret agents. As for the ones whose attachments have led them to go along with those people, even if they are able to awaken, it will be very difficult for them to have any further opportunity to practice cultivation. Dafa is solemn, and cultivation practice is a serious matter. A person--no matter who he is--must himself pay for all of the bad things he has done in the world. I do not want to see a single student fall, but I definitely don't want unqualified disciples, either.”

Wendy Fang and Stephanie Lu yell hysterically and continuously at the street crossing from about 3:00 to about 5:00 every afternoon, in order to drive away Falun Gong practitioners. To avoid misunderstanding, Falun Gong practitioners had to take away their umbrella and picture display. The two women continued to yell and distribute their print materials.

Businesses nearby have aversion to their irrational behaviors and mistaken them as Falun Gong practitioners. Some people were so angered by the two women that they went to curse them. But they ended up cursing Falun Dafa. On the other hand, the attacker in the beating incident happily helps the two women watch their print materials.

The two women never join Falun Dafa study, nor do they listen to Falun Gong practitioners' advice. Many Falun Gong practitioners tried to communicate with them and ask them to stop what they were doing. The chair of the local Falun Dafa Association tried to stop their behavior several times, but they refuse to listen.

As the beating incident received more public attention, some English-language media sent reporters to the incident location, but they ended up recording the two women. Many people were misled by them. What they did was more detrimental to Falun Dafa than the CCP's agents.

We make this formal statement that their behaviors are not what Falun Gong practitioners would do. They undermine Falun Gong and mislead people. They are solely responsible for the serious consequences. A true Falun Gong practitioner would be rational and compassionate, and would bring peace and truth to people in a good way.
