(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 8 provinces. In this report, 6 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 13 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Dalian, Liaoning Province] Additional Information about Falun Gong Practitioners Arrested on July 6, 2012
On the afternoon of July 6, several plainclothes police officers from the Chunhai Police Station in Zhongshan District ransacked Ms. Wang Yan’s home and arrested her.
On the same day, officers from the Jiaojinshan Police Station in Ganjingzi District ransacked Mr. Shi Zhanshun’s home and arrested him.
Also on July 6, Ms. Xiao Chunling and her husband Liu Qingtao from Jinzhouxin District were taken to the Wanli Police Station in Dalian Developing District. Ms. Xiao’s family went to request her release on that day, but they were beaten by police. The police also beat Ms. Xiao and her husband. The two practitioners were transferred to the Yaojia Detention Center in Dalian that night. Mr. Liu Qingyong has since been released.

Mr. Zhou Hongbo and his wife Wang Fujuan were living in Hujitumo Town, Taikang County, Daqing. On the night of July 7, 2012, the couple were taken away by officers from the local 610 Office. Their whereabouts are unknown. At about 9:30 p.m , Liang Feng, associate mayor of Hujitumo Town, and Zhao Yanbo from the Taikang 610 Office, led three vehicles to Mr. Zhou’s home and ransacked it. On July 9, 2012, local police officers delivered a notification to Mr. Zhou’s family, saying that Mr. Zhou had been arrested in Taikang and Ms. Wang Fujuan had been arrested in Daqing on July 8.

The Xinbin Court attempted to try Ms. Zhang Fuchun on July 13, 2012. The court returned her case back to the Xinbin Police Department the first time. Zhao Lianke from the Xinbin Police Department and officers from the Yushu Township Police Station supplied so-called evidence and re-submitted the case.
9. [Beian, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Chunlin Arrested
Mr. Li Chunlin from Tongbei Town, Beian was taken away from his home by officers from the Tongbei Police Department on the morning of July 9, 2012. It is thought that he had been sent to the Yichun Brainwashing Center.

10. [Hegang, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Jing Lijun Arrested
On the night of June 28, 2012, Liu Jianguo and other officers from the Domestic Security Division of Baoquanling Police Department broke into Ms. Jing Lijun’s home and took her away. She was first taken to a hospital for a physical examination and then sent to a brainwashing center while was held in the Jiansanjiang Administration Bureau of Heilongjiang Province. She has still not been released.
11. [Chifeng, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Meng Xiangrong Arrested
Ms. Meng Xiangrong, 48, works in Dongdianyi Company in Yuanbaoshan District, Chifeng. On the morning of July 9, 2012, she was taken away from her workplace by officers from the Yuanbaoshan Domestic Security Division and the Yunshanlu Police Station. The police also ransacked her home and took away two computers and some Falun Dafa books. Her whereabouts are unknown.
12. [Tonghua, Jilin Province] Mr. Wang Xingui Sent to the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp
Mr. Wang Xingui was taken to the Tuanjie Police Station on the night of June 24, 2012. Yang Weiguo led other police officers to fabricate evidence and sent Mr. Wang to the Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp on July 6, 2012.
13. [Fuyu County, Heilongjiang Province] Heilongjiang Women’s Prison Made Trouble for Ms. Pan Guiying
Ms. Pan Guiying was arrested by police on July 13, 2008. She was sentenced to four years in prison and detained in the Heilongjiang Women’s Prison. The term was supposedly over on July 13, 2012, however the prison guards made trouble for her and her family.
14. [Tangshan, Hebei Province] Ms. Yan Shumin Arrested
Ms. Yan Shumin from Fengrun District, Tangshan was taken to the Fengrun Detention Center while distributing Falun Gong materials to people on the night of July 8, 2012.

16. [Daqing, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Wang Hongxing Appealed to the Daqing Intermediate Court--the Court Upheld the Original Sentence
Mr. Wang Hongxing was sentenced to three years in prison by the Honggang Court in April 2011. He submitted an appeal on August 1, 2011. The Daqing Intermediate Court accepted the case on September 1, 2011. The case went on and on. It was said that the Daqing Intermediate Court upheld the original sentence.

17. [Longhui County, Hunan Province] Ms. Huang Junyu Taken to the Brainwashing Center
Ms. Huang Junyu, 66, is a retired teacher and lives in Ziyang Village, Taohong Town, Longhui. On the morning of May 17, 2012, she and 74 year-old Ms. Liu Surong from the same village were taken away by officers from the Taohong Police Station while they were posting self-adhesive posters on which “Falun Dafa is Good” was printed. The police forced them to sign and leave fingerprints on the so-called statement promising to give up practicing Falun Gong.
On June 18, 2012, Ma Changcheng, principal of the Tianfu High School in Taohong Town led people to send Ms. Huang Junyu to a brainwashing center, where she was detained for three days. Before being arrested this time, Ms. Huang had been weak due to the persecution.
