Czech Republic: Falun Gong Practitioners Commemorate April 25 Appeal (Photo)
(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in the Czech Republic held an activity to commemorate the April 25 Appeal on Wenceslas Square in Prague on April 20, 2013. They distributed information to tourists and passersby about the persecution of Falun Gong in China and the Chinese Communist Party's crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. The activity also collected signatures from Falun Gong supporters.
Tourists from different countries and passersby were shocked to learn about the brutal persecution. They read the displays and signed a petition to support the work of Falun Gong practitioners to end the persecution and condemn the atrocities.
A few tourists from China received print materials from Falun Gong practitioners. Other Chinese in their group followed them to get print materials too. One of them said, “These newsletters are really worth reading.” A young man said, “We can read about Falun Gong on the Internet by using anti-blockade software.” A Chinese student from Hunan Province said, “The CCP is so cruel! So inhuman! Chinese people rarely learn the facts about the persecution. The only ways to find out about it are to use anti-blockade software or to come abroad.” She asked for a copy of print materials and quit the CCP. A Falun Gong practitioner told her to recite, “Falun Dafa is good; Truth-Compassion-Forbearance is good” in her heart to bring her blessings and peace. She answered happily, “I will certainly remember that!”
Local residents showed great sympathy to those who are being persecuted. Some of them even learned the Falun Gong exercises on site.
