(Minghui.org) In May 2013, officers from the Chengdu City Railway Police Station arrested Ms. Xie Xia, a Falun Gong practitioner and an outstanding piano teacher from Shuangliu County, Sichuan Province.
She was arrested at the railway station after she presented her ID at the security entrance. She was going to visit her ill mother, but was arrested and detained in the detention center affiliated with the Chengdu Railway Police Station. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
Due to her firm belief in Falun Dafa, Ms. Xie has been detained, sentenced to forced labor, and sentenced to prison several times. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials blacklisted her and recorded notes under her profile. After the police arrested her, they ransacked her home.
Ms. Xie graduated from the Sichuan Music Institute. She is a very responsible music teacher and has been employed in Shuangliu Tanghu Middle School and Shuangliu County Huayang Vocational School. After the persecution of Falun Dafa began, Huayang Vocational School fired her and confiscated her apartment, which she had already paid for in full. She became homeless and had to search everywhere for a job. Moreover, for years she had to raise her child alone after being divorced.
During the years that Ms. Xie was detained, her child was subject to prejudice and lived a lonely life. After she was released, officials from the Shuangliu County 610 Office often harassed and monitored her. They even prevented people from renting her a room. She had to find a job in another city.
