A police chief in Yingcheng City, Hubei Province, has made it a habit to beat local residents caught exposing the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong. In just three months, six women have endured his brutality.

String of Arrests

The police arrested two female Falun Gong practitioners on the morning on Oct 25, 2014. Yang Yadong (杨亚东), chief of the Cheng'nan Police Station, slapped one of them multiple times until her mouth was bloody. He then stomped on her feet with his steel-toed boots, causing her feet to be bruised and swollen.

Half a dozen officers surrounded the other practitioner (who was in her 70s) and tore at her, shoved her, and dragged her around. She began having convulsions and fell unconscious. She was released that evening.

Another time, Yang and three other officers arrested two female practitioners. They beat both ladies inside a police vehicle on June 16, 2014.

A month prior, Yang had two female practitioners arrested in May 2014. He had them locked up at the Chengnan Police Station. One of the practitioners was 75 years old, yet an officer shoved her back and forth and twisted her arms. Different officers dragged the other practitioner down the hall and beat her.
