(Minghui.org) The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is very afraid of people quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations. People in China dare not hang up a sign that says “Quit the CCP Service Center,” for fear of reprisal from the authorities. In my experience, however, it is common for many people to quit every day. I would like to share my experience of running a “quit the CCP service center.”
Mr. Zheng's Shoe Repair Stall
Mr. Zheng is 60 years old. He sets up shop on the street and repairs shoes to make a living. He is kind and respectful and has high moral standards. He believes in Buddhas and has great sympathy for Falun Dafa practitioners. I saw him working hard, so I gave him a bamboo chair, a thermos, and two small benches. He was very appreciative. I told him that I understood it was not easy to make a living and that he must let me know if there was anything else I could do to help him. I explained that Master Li taught us to help others. He said, “Only Falun Dafa practitioners, such as yourself, are so kind.”
After it began to rain one day, Mr. Zheng packed up all his stuff and started to drive home. It started to rain harder and harder, and his car stalled because it was leaking oil. He was upset and not sure what to do. He then remembered that I had told him to recite “Falun Dafa is good” to bring him good fortune. So, as he used a plastic bottle to collect the leaking oil, he did. A short time later the leak stopped. He managed to start up the car and drive home, and no damage was done to his car. After this incident, Mr. Zheng had even more faith in Falun Dafa.
At least half a dozen people go to Mr. Zheng's shoe repair stall every day. I realized this would be a good place for me to talk to people about Falun Dafa and save sentient beings, so whenever I had new truth-clarifying brochures, I took them there first. As I was handing out the brochures, an older lady warned me to stop. I turned around and saw a police car parked about 30 feet away, with a few officers standing next to it. I said, “It's OK. They don’t bother me.” I didn't have any fear because I had the Fa in my heart. Master taught us:
“Just by staying unaffected you will be able to handle all situations.” (“Teaching the Fa at the Conference in the Midwest-U.S.”)
The police car soon drove away. The lady smiled and praised me. She knew that Dafa protected me.
Veterans Quit the CCP
A middle-aged man stopped to talk to me one morning. After I told him about Falun Dafa and the persecution, he said, “I am a veteran. The army is corrupt. You must bribe your superiors if you want to get promoted. I really didn't like it.
"The local government is even worse. I totally see through all their lies and I will not be deceived by the CCP any longer. No one cared about me after I was discharged from the military. I worked hard to find a job and finally became a driver, and just barely earn enough to get by. I am a CCP member--please help me to quit." I asked him if he'd like to use an alias, but he said that he would use his real name. I gave him some brochures to pass on to others.
Mr. Yang, 60, was also an army veteran. He worked in the city but came to the county where I live to care for his father-in-law. His father-in-law was paralyzed and bedridden. Mr. Yang and his wife took excellent care of him.
As we became acquainted, he told me that he had heard about Falun Dafa and had read some of the brochures. He said that our conversations had helped to clear up a lot questions he had about Dafa, and now he realized that the CCP was very bad. He was happy to quit the Party.
Retirees Quit the CCP
Mr. Ma is retired from a bank. He is friendly, but stubborn in his views. He thought that Falun Dafa wanted to take power from the CCP. I told him, “If we want power, we need to have a clear political agenda, clear goals, and a plan of action. Over ten thousand practitioners went to Beijing to appeal on April 25, 1999. We were quiet and peaceful. We just wanted to tell the government our side of the story, restore Master's reputation, and ask that we be allowed to practice Falun Dafa free of interference from the authorities. We did not have any other objective.” I could see that he was thinking about what I said.
I continued, “Falun Dafa is different from any other qigong. It is a true cultivation practice. Practitioners are not in any way involved in politics. Because of Falun Dafa's amazing health benefits, 100 million people started to practice it.” I patiently clarified the facts to him, and eventually he agreed that Falun Dafa was good and quit the CCP.
Ms. Liu is retired from a store's food department. She came over to Mr. Zheng's stall to have her shoes repaired. This was a perfect opportunity for me to talk to her about Falun Dafa. We talked for more than 30 minutes. She said that others had talked to her about it, and she had read some of the brochures. She agreed that Falun Dafa is good and that practitioners are good people.
She then said, “Jiang's regime persecuted and framed Falun Dafa. You are innocent, and sooner or later this will all turn around. My name is Li. Please help me quit the Communist Youth League.” Before she left, I gave her some brochures and told her, “Please remember to say, 'Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.' You will be rewarded.” She agreed and thanked me.
Small Business Owner Understands the Truth and Is Rewarded
There is a small furniture store where I live that has become very popular. Why do so many shop there? It is because the owner understands the truth about Falun Dafa and acknowledged many years ago that Dafa is good. Many of his family and friends have quit the CCP. Even his relative who was a village Party secretary quit the CCP.
He also helped us to hand out truth-clarifying materials by taking them with him when he delivered furniture. His good behavior has been rewarded with business success. He came by to ask me over for dinner to thank me for helping him over the years. I said, “Your business is good because you accept Dafa and you help spread the Fa. You deserve it. You should thank Master Li! Dafa brought you blessings.”
“Service Center” for Quitting the CCP Is Protected
During the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the police patrolled day and night and set up security checkpoints everywhere. They forced all the stalls off the street. The people who couldn't find a spot inside a building could not do business and had no way to make a living.
If a business owner did not follow the police's orders, they took their things away. If the owner protested, he or she was arrested and put in the detention center. Surprisingly, no one touched Mr. Zheng's stall. And my “service center” still ran smoothly. The patrol cars passed us, but did not stop. Someone asked Mr. Zheng, “Is there a Buddha protecting you?” Mr. Zheng replied, “Falun Dafa protects me. Falun Dafa is magnificent and I believe in it!”
My “service center” for quitting the CCP does not have a sign, but sentient beings seem to be able to "see" it anyway.
