(Minghui.org) A signature drive held in Parramatta, the busiest commercial center in Sydney, on November 1, 2015 found support from two City Councillors and many local residents.

Falun Gong practitioners in Sydney held this event to raise awareness about the state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting crimes in China. They also sought support for a recent movement in which victims of the persecution of Falun Gong are suing former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin for launching the illegal ban of the practice in 1999.

Since May, nearly 200,000 Falun Gong practitioners and their family members have filed lawsuits against Jiang Zemin.

“I Admire the Courage of Those Who Have Filed Criminal Complaints Against Jiang”

John Hugh, Parramatta City Councillor, signs petition to support the lawsuits against former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin.

“I know Jiang Zemin is the chief culprit in the persecution of Falun Gong, and he has committed crimes against humanity,” said Mr. Hugh. “In the West, all those who have committed a crime like this should be tried by law. Everyone is equal in front of the law. China needs to have a fair legal system.”

“I admire the courage of those who have filed lawsuits against Jiang,” he added.

Live Organ Harvesting Has Gone Beyond Baseline of Human Rights

James Shaw, Parramatta City Councillor

Mr. James Shaw said that live organ harvesting has gone beyond the baseline of human rights, and it has violated the right to one's religious and cultural beliefs. He added that all the hospitals and doctors who have been involved must be investigated.

Aboriginal Australian: The Persecution Must Be Stopped

“It's horrible!” said Ms. Tanya, an aboriginal Australian as she saw the banners depicting the torture methods used by the Chinese regime persecute Falun Gong practitioners.

She hopes that the Australian government will pressure China to stop the persecution of Falun Gong and Chinese people before talking about trade and business.
