Lawrence Toet, a Canadian Member of Parliament from Winnipeg, sent a congratulatory letter to the Falun Dafa Association of Canada in recognition of World Falun Dafa Day, the 23rd anniversary of the introduction of Falun Dafa to the public, May 13.
He wrote, “Falun Dafa practitioners can be very proud of their achievements in Canada and the contributions of the Falun Dafa community in the development of our nation's rich history and heritage...I thank you for your valuable contribution to our communities and I offer my very best wishes to the Falun Dafa Association of Canada for a successful and memorable celebration.”

In his greeting to the Falun Dafa Association Winnipeg, Mayor Brian Bowman of Winnipeg wrote, “The Falun Dafa Association Winnipeg has helped preserve and promote the fundamental principles of Truth, Benevolence, and Forbearance among Winnipeg's Chinese community and make a positive impact in our diverse city and helps make Winnipeg a place we are all proud to call home.”
