"Cyprus Mail" Publishes Interviews with Falun Gong Practitioners

July 18, 2015 |

(Minghui.org) The Cyprus Mail website published a video of three local Falun Gong practitioners being interviewed on July 6, 2015.

They gave reporter Theo Panayides details on the 16-year long persecution of Falun Gong in China, and about the state-sanctioned organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners and other prisoners of conscience.

Joanna from Cyprus, Elisabeth from Germany, and Baiwu Siow from Liaoning Province, China, all live in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus. They each shared some of their experiences in practicing Falun Gong.

Siow, who was tortured in China for his belief, said, “I was sent to forced labor camps three times. The guards force-fed me and tied me to an metal frame. I was deprived of sleep and shocked with electric batons.”

Joanna started practicing Falun Gong when she was a student in Athens in 2011. She was suffering from anxiety and stress. “Practicing Falun Gong has fundamentally improved me both physically and mentally,” she said. “The Chinese government has made up a lot of lies about Falun Gong.”
