(Minghui.org) I filed a letter of criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin even though I was not severely persecuted for practicing Falun Dafa. After the letter was received by the Supreme People's Procuratorate, I showed the letter to many of my acquaintances.

Judge Acknowledges Merits of Letter

I shared the letter with a former classmate who is now a judge for the City Intermediate People's Court. I wanted to discuss the charges and hear his opinion.

I asked his thoughts about the letter, and he said it was very well written.

I had previously talked to him about Falun Dafa and the persecution by the communist regime. Perhaps because of his position, he did not listen much and changed the topic very quickly.

I was very pleased with his comments this time. He apparently took the time to read my letter and understood the situation.

School Principal's Admiration

I showed the letter to another classmate who is now a school principal. He said he would take it home and read it thoroughly.

“I know you are not doing this for yourself, but for others and our society,” he said. “You have transcended and let go of fame and profit. I cannot do what you have done, and I admire you for that.”

He told me that he would try his best to assist me in this matter.

Many practitioners in my area have submitted their complaints to the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate, as well as to local courts, procuratorates, police stations, and 610 offices. Some also attached a letter informing the staff about the charges against Jiang.

Background

In 1999 Jiang Zemin, as head of the Chinese Communist Party, overrode other Politburo standing committee members and launched the violent suppression of Falun Dafa.

The persecution has led to the deaths of thousands of Falun Dafa practitioners over the past 16 years. More have been tortured for their beliefs and even killed for their organs. Jiang Zemin is directly responsible for the inception and continuation of the brutal persecution.

Under his personal direction, the Chinese Communist Party established an extralegal security organ, the 610 Office, on June 10, 1999. The organization overrides police forces and the judicial system in carrying out Jiang's directive regarding Falun Dafa: to ruin their reputations, cut off their financial resources, and destroy them physically.

Chinese law now allows for citizens to be plaintiffs in criminal cases, and many practitioners are now exercising that right to file criminal complaints against the former dictator.
