(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 17 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 16 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 33 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Xiajin County, Shandong Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Tang Jilan and Mr. Zhang Shoufeng's mother from Shuangmiao Township were arrested when they were telling people about Falun Gong (also known as Falun Dafa) in the Baimahu area on June 26, 2015. Both practitioners were held in the Xiajin Detention Center.
Mr. Zhang Shoufeng is still being held in Jinan Prison.
2. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Luan Lijie Suffers Broken Arm
Ms. Luan Lijie from Sujiatun went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. One of her arms was broken while being force-fed.
3. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Mr. Kang Shoubo's Entire Family Arrested
Liu Pinglu and officers from the Domestic Security Division broke into Mr. Kang Shoubo's home in Songbei Village, Songlin Town, and arrested him on the morning of June 9, 2015. The police confiscated a computer, a printer, a DVD burner, a car, and over 10,000 yuan in cash. Mr. Kang is being held in the Linqing City Detention Center.
On June 30, the police lied to Mr. Kang's wife, telling her to pick him up at the Linqing Police Department. She was arrested when she got there. The police then arrested Mr. Kang's parents. Mr. Kang's wife was released that afternoon.

4. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Cuiling Arrested
Ms. Wang Cuiling was arrested on June 24, 2015.
5. [Holingol City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Na Lihuan Arrested
When Ms. Na Lihuan went to the post office to mail her lawsuit against Jiang Zemin on June 30, 2015, officer Qi Bolong from the Domestic Security Division, arrested her.
Ms. Na developed symptoms of high blood pressure at the police station and was taken to a hospital.

6. [Leiyang City, Hunan Province] Five Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Zhang Yingrong, Mr. Xu Zhongdang, Ms. Li Fuying, Ms. Li Huizhen, and Ms. Zi Chengxiang were arrested by officers from the Simenzhou Town Police Station for telling people about Falun Gong in Wangcha Village, Simenzhou Town, on July 1, 2015. They are being held in the Leiyang City State Security Bureau.
7. [Yunmeng County, Hubei Province] Five Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Wang Haihua, Ms. Li Jinfang, Ms. Yin Juxiang, Ms. Zhu Guitao, and Mr. Li Hanming were arrested by officers from the Shuilu Police Station in Chengguan Town on the afternoon of July 1, 2015, and taken to the police station. Ms. Zhu Guitao managed to escape later that day.

8. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Tong Niang Arrested
Ms. Tong Niang from the Chadianzi Neighborhood was arrested when she was telling people about Falun Gong in Tianfu Square on June 28, 2015. People sent from her workplace accompanied her home after she was released.
9. [Beijing] Six Practitioners Arrested
Mr. Zhao Haiying and five other practitioners were arrested by Baizhifang Police Station officers on June 24, 2015, and taken to the Xicheng Detention Center. They were released the next evening.
10. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhao Xinli Arrested
Mr. Zhao Xinli went to the Yaojia Detention Center to send forth righteous thoughts on July 1, 2015, but was arrested by officers from the Dalianwan Police Station. He was released by midnight.
11. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Xianying Arrested
Ms. Li Xianying from Kouqian Town, Yongji County, was arrested by a plainclothes officer when she was telling people about the persecution on the morning of July 1, 2015. Her home was ransacked.
12. [Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Jiao Jiaqian Arrested
Mr. Jiao Jiaqian was arrested at work by officers from the Zhenhailu Police Station on the afternoon of July 1, 2015.
13. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhao Hongsheng Taken to a Brainwashing Center
Mr. Zhao Hongsheng from the Licheng District was arrested at home by the director of the Wangsheren Town Police Station and officers from the Jinan City Police Department on the afternoon of June 24, 2015. He was taken to the Zhonggong Brainwashing Center.
14. [Chongqing] Mr. Yu Yeyi Detained
Mr. Yu Yeyi was tricked into going to the residential committee on June 23, 2015, where officers arrested him. He is being held in the Chongqing No. 2 Detention Center.
15. [Beijing] Ms. Zhang Yu Detained
Ms. Zhang Yu from the Fengtai District was arrested by officers from the 110 Response Unit for telling people about Falun Gong on June 30, 2015. She is being held in a detention center.
16. [Chicheng County, Hebei Province] Five Practitioners Arrested
Officers from the Domestic Security Division, the Patrol Team, and the Chengguan Police Station in Chicheng County coordinated the arrests of Mr. Ren Jianhai, Mr. Sun Zhiqing, Mr. Zhang Yongli, Ms. Zhang Yunchan, and her husband Mr. Cui Xiang on the morning of June 29, 2015. They ransacked the practitioners' homes.
Mr. Cui Xiang, Mr. Ren Jianhai, and Ms. Zhang Yunchan have been released. Mr. Sun Zhiqing was placed under administrative detention for 10 days. He is being held in the county detention center. Mr. Zhang Yongli is being held in the Zhangjiakou City Detention Center.

Ms. Li Yajie went to the post office to mail her lawsuit against Jiang Zemin, but the post office staff handed her letter to the Political and Legal Affairs Committee. She was then arrested on July 1, 2015, and taken to the Harbin City Detention Center.

18. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Nine Practitioners Detained
Ms. Dalan, Ms. Xiaolan, Ms. Hongjie, Ms. Xiaoxiang, Ms. Xiaohua, Ms. He Jing, Ms. Sun and her husband, and Mr. Wang Wei from Shilihe Town in the Sujiatun District were arrested by Shenyang Domestic Security Division officers on Jung 29, 2015. They are being held in the Shenyang City Detention Center.
Ms. Xiaolan went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. Guards twisted her arm and broke it.
19. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Ms. Lei Rijiao Arrested
Ms. Lei Rijiao was distributing Falun Gong informational DVDs when plainclothes officers arrested her around 10:00 a.m. on June 18, 2015. She was held at the Party School Brainwashing Center in the Beihu District for three days.
20. [Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Han Arrested
Ms. Han from the Shiliquan Power Plant Communities was arrested at home on June 10, 2015. The police ransacked her home and confiscated a notebook computer, a computer, a laser printer, Falun Gong books and informational materials, and several thousand yuan in cash.
