(Minghui. org) A zinc smelter exploded in a particular factory one day, launching some blocks of solid zinc through the roof. However Mr. Qian, who stood in front of the furnace, was not injured at all.
The accident took place on August 9, 2013, in Chaopu, Anning City, Yunnan Province.
On that day at noon, Mr. Qian was tending the zinc smelter in which some blocks of zinc were being melted. Suddenly the furnace exploded. Several workers not too far away from the furnace rushed out of the plant, but Mr. Qian was so frightened that he huddled in a corner.
Pieces of zinc of all sizes could be seen flying through the roof. Others whizzed by Mr. Qian and some fell back from the roof and smashed to the ground near him. Hot water was splashed in all directions. Mr. Qian was still badly shaken, but he did not hurry out of the plant until the explosion had subsided.
Workers gathered round to observe and inquired about his injuries. When they noticed that he was safe and sound, with only a tiny burn on his right arm, they were all amazed and said that he was fortunate that his life had been saved!
Mr. Qian believed in his heart that it was respect and admiration of Falun Dafa that saved him.
Background
When his wife started to practice Falun Gong, Mr. Qian was angry. His eyes glared and he said: “Somebody in Pingdishao Village has been imprisoned because of practicing Falun Gong. How dare you practice it?”
When Falun Gong practitioners came to his house, they noticed that he was unhappy and did not welcome them. Practitioners repeatedly and patiently clarified the facts to him and offered him information booklets about Falun Gong and the persecution.
When his wife listened to Minghui-Radio, she deliberately turned up the volume so that he could hear what was being broadcast. Gradually, he came to understand the truth about Falun Gong and had no objection to his wife practicing it.
Later, when Falun Gong practitioners visited him, he stretched out his right arm, pointed at the small burn and sighing deeply he said: “You see, when the furnace water that was as hot as 800 degrees splashed around, I didn’t feel any pain at all. Falun Dafa is amazing and marvelous!”
