(Minghui.org) I recently accompanied another practitioner to the post office to mail her criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin. Two days later, an employee at the post office called the practitioner and asked her to come get her letter. The police had ordered the post office not to send out such letters.

I accompanied her to the post office to retrieve her letter and to speak to the staff about the persecution of Falun Gong.

One postal employee explained the situation to us: “We sent your letter, but it was rejected at the branch in Yantai City. Apparently, there were orders from the police station not to process such mail.”

“Do you know what was in the letter?” I asked. She did not, so I explained to her this was a lawsuit to bring Jiang to justice for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. I told her that I was once detained for refusing to give up my belief in Falun Gong. While detained, I was injected harmful drugs, stripped naked, hung up by handcuffs, and put through other forms of torture.

I also briefed the postal worker on how the persecution began 16 years ago. I told her how Jiang, who was then head of the Chinese Communist Party, orchestrated the brutal persecution. He and his followers use state-controlled media to defame Falun Gong in order to justify their suppression of the peaceful practice.

There were many people in the post office, and they quietly listened while I talked to the postal worker. I pointed out that this persecution has also led to the killing of practitioners for their organs, which are sold at a huge profit.

I told her that Chinese law allows for citizens to be plaintiffs in criminal cases and Falun Gong practitioners are now exercising their legal right to sue Jiang for his crimes against humanity. We hope that bringing Jiang to justice will end this brutal persecution and that people who were misled by propaganda will know the truth about Falun Gong.

Finally, I asked her if she was a member of the Communist Party. When she said she was, I asked her to withdraw her membership, and she agreed without hesitation.

Even though the postal worker could not accept and deliver the other practitioner's criminal complaint, we were both happy that she came to understand that the persecution is wrong.
