(Minghui.org) Dan lives in Northeastern China. He was kept safe during a robbery attempt because of his practice of Falun Dafa, and he convinced the robber to change his ways.
Dan makes a living by making furniture. He finished a job as the sun was setting, anxious to get on the road home.
On his way, someone leaped in front of him. This person was wearing a mask and holding a knife. He was going to rob Dan.
Dan yelled, “Master please save me!”
To his surprise the thief dropped his knife and ran away. Dan got home safely.
The next day, at the same place, the same man stopped him.
Dan asked the robber, “Why are you trying to rob me again?”
The man shook his head and said,“I'm not here to rob you this time. I just want to ask you who your master is.”
Dan told him, “Mr. Li Hongzhi is my master. Why do you ask?”
The man said, “Your master must be a real Buddha. Last night after you called for help, I saw a tall person wearing a yellow cassock walk toward me. That is why I became frightened, dropped my knife, and ran away.”
Dan felt that this person must be predestined since he could see Master. He persuaded him to give up his bad ways and become a good person. The man began to practice Falun Dafa and follow the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. He was able to give up his old life for one of a truly good person – a Falun Dafa practitioner.
