(Minghui.org) I leased a parcel of land to grow vegetables a few years ago. What I did not know was that the land owner was the police officer who arrested me six years ago.

Helping a Police Officer Who Persecuted Me to Quit the Communist Party

When he arrested me, while detained, he forced me to sign a blank forced labor agreement, that had me agree to whatever he decided to put in the book.

He and the police station instructor pressed on my feet, pushed my head down, and took my hand to sign the blank paper. As a result, I was sent to a women's forced labor camp.

I used to resent him for this, but when we met again twelve years later, I felt that it was meant for us to meet. So, I talked to him about Falun Dafa and the persecution.

He did not believe what I was saying, but I did not give up. A few years later, when I was attending a gathering at my cousin's place, we met again. People were socializing inside the house, so I asked him to step out of the house to speak with him.

I said that we probably had some kind of predestined relationship with one another, and I then urged him to renounce the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and he agreed.

I then gave him a copy of the anti-censorship software, so that he could read more about the persecution online.

Helping a Former Colleague Who Mistreated Me Because I Practiced Falun Dafa

I saw the political section chief at my work unit who mistreated me for my practice at a wedding banquet in 2014. I had not seen her since she moved to the city more than a decade ago. She was sitting right next to me at the banquet.

I thought it was no coincidence that she drove more than 150 miles to be there. After talking to her about Falun Dafa, I reminded her to keep in mind that, “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!”

She withdrew from the CCP and its affiliated organizations that night. She explained to me that she had no choice but to follow the orders at the time, and I said I did not blame her for it.

Helping Other Former Persecutors to Quit the CCP

I met the instructor of the police station who arrested me in 2015. I asked him if he was still working at the police station, and he said he had already retired.

He said he found that practitioners were good people after years of dealing with us. I shared more information about the persecution, and he quit the CCP right there.

The same year at a bank, I ran into the director of my work unit who wronged me for practicing Falun Dafa. I had not seen him since he was transferred to the city bureau more than ten years ago.

He called my name as soon as he saw me. After we exchanged pleasantries, I told him I filed a complaint letter against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the CCP who launched the persecution.

He concurred that Jiang should be sued. Observing that he was open-minded, I thought perhaps he had read the Falun Dafa informational pamphlets. I quickly encouraged him to withdraw from the CCP, and he nodded in agreement.

There were so many people at the bank, thus I could not talk to him thoroughly. But I planned to send him more information soon.

After a wedding reception at the end of 2015, I shared a ride with the head of the Disciplinary Inspection Committee who persecuted me.

I explained to him about Dafa and the persecution, and he asked me a few questions. I gave him an informational brochure, and helped him renounce the CCP.

In March of this year, I encountered the wife of the former head of the Disciplinary Inspection Committee at a market fair. He had persecuted me before and had already passed away.

I asked if she had heard of renouncing the Party, and she just smiled. I told her it is a good thing to quit the Party.

I also asked if she wanted to help her husband to quit, and she agreed. I am very happy for them.
