Ms. Zhang Huani was arrested at home on the morning of September 6, 2016, by officers from the Beicheng Police Station, following orders from Chen Lin, head of the Huangchuan County Domestic Security Division. She was taken to the county detention center the following day.
2. [Ye County, Henan Province] Ms. Zhao Liya and Ms. Sun Chunhua Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Zhao Liya and Ms. Sun Chunhua were tried by the Ye County Court on July 28, 2016. On September 7, the court sentenced Ms. Zhao to four years in prison and Ms. Sun to three years. Ms. Zhao has appealed the sentence.

Ms. Ma Yuzhi, in her seventies, was sentenced to nine months in prison on September 3, 2016.

5. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Gu Zhiguang Arrested
Ms. Gu Zhiguang was arrested at work on September 6, 2016. Her whereabouts are unknown.
6. [Qinglong County, Hebei Province] Mr. Kang Guiqing Detained
Zhang Wentian, director of the Dashiling Township Police Station, along with Xu and other officers, broke into Mr. Kang Guiqing's home, and took him to a detention center on September 6, 2016.

Ms. Wang Zhendi, 72, was arrested for telling people about Falun Gong. She is being held in the Xuzhou City Detention Center.
8. [Chongqing] Mr. Chen Degui Taken to Brainwashing Center
Mr. Chen Degui was arrested by officers from the Jiangjin District Domestic Security Division and the 610 Office on August 12, 2016. The officers ransacked Mr. Chen's home and confiscated over 400 yuan in paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them. Mr. Chen was taken to the Jiangjin Brainwashing Center.
9. [Urumqi City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Ms. Fan Yingxia and Husband Mr. Shao Shengrui Detained
Ms. Fan Yingxia was arrested when she was distributing Falun Gong informational materials on June 1, 2016. She was taken to a detention center the following day for 15 days of detention. On June 17, she was transferred to the Shuimogou Detention Center. She has not returned.
Her husband Mr. Shao Shengrui was arrested at work on June 1, 2016. He is being held in the Xishan Detention Center.

Mr. Zhang Youfu was arrested by officers from the Baiyin City Domestic Security Division on the afternoon of September 7, 2016. He is being held in the Baiyin City Detention Center.

Ms. Yu Shuqing from Wukeshu Town in Yushu City was arrested when she went to the Wukeshu Town Police Station to distribute Falun Gong informational materials on September 8, 2016. She was taken to a detention center for ten days of detention.

Mr. Hu Yugen, from Qinglong Town, the Pengshan District, was sentenced to four years in prison and fined 5,000 yuan on August 9, 2016 by the Pengshan District Court.

She is being held in the Luergou Detention Center in the Qinzhou District.

Ms. Pei Lu from Suizhong County was arrested at the door of her home by officers from the Suizhong County Domestic Security Division on the morning of September 1, 2016. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated five computers, a printer, and all her Falun Gong books. She is being held in the Huludao Detention Center.
22. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Guomin Detained
Mr. Li Guomin, from Dawulan Town, Qinglong County, was arrested by Dong Zhimin, director of the Dawulan Town Police Station, and other officers on September 9, 2016. The officers ransacked his home. They confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong and printed materials. Mr. Li is being held in the Qinglong County Detention Center.

Five practitioners were arrested when they were talking to people about Falun Gong at Xiaotun Village in Hejian Town on September 8, 2016.
