(Minghui.org) At about 5 a.m. on June 28, 2016, our county police department sent out six police vans to seize six practitioners and ransack their homes. Four practitioners were released later that day. Two were held in the local detention center.

During our initial exchanges, some practitioners started to point fingers, blaming the two detained practitioners for not having cultivated well and leaving gaps for the evil to take advantage of.

Other practitioners were afraid the two practitioners would not be able to withstand persecution, so they wanted to resort to doing what ordinary people would do and bail them out.

After further discussion, it was decided we should each look inward and not lay any blame, just form a whole body to a focus on saving the officials in the public security organs while rescuing the two practitioners.

Some practitioners pointed out that there had been attempts to clarify the truth to the police before but the officers were generally not receptive.

Some wanted to hire a lawyer, but family members of the two practitioners were afraid it would just be a waste of money. One practitioner’s daughter wanted to make inquiries at the police department before making a decision.

The following day, the daughter learned that the practitioners would be detained for a month, and one of them might be given a sentence.

She said to the police, “If my father had been arrested for murder or arson, I could understand that. But my father is a good man, so the police are acting like hoodlums. I know you are good people. If all else fails, we will have to hire a lawyer.”

The daughter was told that no lawyer would dare to defend a Falun Gong practitioner.

Two days later, family members went to visit the practitioners but were not allowed to see them.

The wives of the two practitioners decided to each hire a lawyer. We all stood behind them and went separately into action.

We solicited practitioners in the county, in the country, and overseas to mail letters, make calls, and send messages to persuade the law enforcement officials and 610 Office agents not to persecute good people and let them know that blessings would be theirs in return.

We plastered the whole county with truth clarification posters and Dafa materials to ensure that everyone knew the facts about Falun Gong and the crimes committed by Jiang Zemin and his gang, and to warn the officials not to be co-conspirators in Jiang’s persecution, because good and bad will be repaid in kind.

Some practitioners went to the residential buildings of the procuratorate and the court to distribute Dafa materials and put up posters.

All practitioners in the entire county participated in a 24-hour relay to send forth righteous thoughts to maintain our righteous thoughts and focus.

Two lawyers showed up at the detention center for their scheduled interviews with the practitioners and returned with an uplifting report that the practitioners had remained firm and were in good condition. The news bolstered our confidence.

The lawyers then went to the police department to submit the required documents. Many practitioners went along to send forth righteous thought and clear out the evil in other dimensions.

Several days passed without any further development.

Practitioners came together and decided we needed to rectify ourselves, that our goal to rescue the two practitioners was ultimately to save the officials, that we should not rely so heavily on the lawyers, and that we should take the leading roles.

Several practitioners continued to visit the police department to clarify the truth.

On July 29, one of the lawyers went to the detention center to visit his client but was denied entry. The lawyer protested, saying that such a refusal was against the law.

He also turned in official documents that declared practicing Falun Gong was perfectly legal.

In the meantime, the two practitioners’ family members were informed by the police that the case had been sent to the Procuratorate.

The families went to the Procuratorate and told a section chief how Falun Dafa had changed their home lives, turning a domineering man into a loving father and a drunk into a model son.

On August 1, we went to the Procuratorate again to clarify the truth, with renewed clarity to rid ourselves of any negative thoughts and to focus on saving the officials with compassion.

Practitioners who concentrated on sending forth righteous thoughts firmly believed only what Master decides counts. So they pleaded with Master for help to eliminate the evil controlling the Procuratorate.

About 40 to 50 practitioners in the entire county all did their best to join in to send forth righteous thoughts near the Procuratorate. They practically surrounded the building.

The other practitioners made phone calls or wrote short notes to every official connected with the case to persuade them to do the right thing and not persecute the innocent.

On August 2, the Procuratorate met to discuss the case. Practitioners around the Procuratorate continued to send forth strong righteous thoughts.

Finally, at 11 a.m., the Procuratorate made a decision that there was not enough evidence for the arrests.

That afternoon, overjoyed about the positive outcome, practitioners went to the police department to send forth righteous thoughts that were somewhat lacking.

As it turned out, the Procuratorate did not forward its decision to the police department until 4 p.m., so everything was delayed for a day.

On August 3, practitioners got together for an exchange and a reflection. We came to the conclusion that our goal was to save the officials, so we should not be too concerned about the end result.

We needed to steady our hearts and not let them be affected. The longer the wait, the more steady we had to remain.

When the two practitioners’ families went to the police department, the officers informed them they needed to come up with 10,000 yuan each before anyone would be released.

When they declared they didn’t have the money, they were cursed at and thrown out.

So the families went searching for the director-in-charge, demanding to know why the police were cursing at them and saying that the release ordered by the Procuratorte should have been duly honored.

The director said, “I can’t imagine why the Procuratorate didn’t approve the arrests. But, approval or not, you still need to pay. Go to the captain and tell him I said you can pay less. But go get the money.”

Practitioners decided not to cooperate or compromise. We continued to send forth strong righteous thoughts. We would stand firm to the very end.

At one point, a police van stopped right where we were sitting and began taking pictures of cars parked nearby. We succeeded in remaining calm and unaffected.

Afterward, we found out they were taking pictures of illegally parked cars.

Then we heard a shout-out from the building for people to “move along.” We maintained our composure again and continued sending forth righteous thoughts in the lotus position.

In the afternoon, the police department made a call to the families and agreed to a lesser amount. But the majority of practitioners decided we would not budge.

The police called the families again, saying they should show up quickly with the money because the office would be closed for the day soon.

However, all agreed we would put our trust in Master. We would also try to save the officials from doing more bad deeds.

Finally, after 37 days, with Master’s merciful protection, the power of strong righteous thoughts, cooperation from all practitioners, and the lawyers’ assistance, the two practitioners were unconditionally released and left the police department with pride and dignity.

Master allowed all the participating officials in this incident an opportunity to position themselves.

Through this experience, we all felt the mighty and boundless power of the Buddha Fa. We also realized the importance of rectifying ourselves. When we fill our hearts with the Fa, evil is nothing in comparison to our righteousness.

We thank Master for providing us with an opportunity to exercise our powers of cooperation and the opportunity to save the law enforcement officers.
