(Minghui.org) I felt Master’s immense compassion while listening to the emcee read aloud “A Congratulatory Letter to the Fa Conference of Europe.”

Upon returning to my hotel after the conference, I spent half an hour memorizing the letter and came to see that Master has laid out the path ahead for me.

“The outside pressures that Dafa disciples face are tests as well as opportunities to be more diligent, while the internal conflicts and pressures among Dafa disciples are, likewise, tests and opportunities to be more diligent.” (“A Congratulatory Letter to the Fa Conference of Europe”)

I learned that I must remember I am a cultivator at all times, whether I am facing outside pressure or internal conflicts. I should make good use of the conflicts and pressure to look within and cultivate well.

In the past I always thought that it’d be hard to live in an everyday people’s society if I abandoned all my attachments. As such, I gradually let down my guard.

Master’s new teaching gave me a wake-up call,

“You will not be able to complete the final leg of your journey well if your cultivation is deficient in some way, or if you have human thinking or attachments.” (“A Congratulatory Letter to the Fa Conference of Europe”)

I decided to dig out my sentimentality and selfishness first since they were the root causes of other attachments. With that thought, I suddenly realized that only by letting go of self, can I allow my true self take control.

This enlightenment also led me to a deeper understanding of what it means to “attain the righteous Enlightenment of selflessness and altruism.” (“Non-Omission in Buddha-Nature,” Falun Dafa Essentials For Further Advancement) At that moment, it felt like I was entering a new realm as described by Master in his poem,

“The heavens clear, the cosmic body transparent, the universe rectified” (“After the Catastrophe,” Hong Yin)

As I kept memorizing the letter, I felt more and more of Master’s compassion and was moved by Master’s encouragement to us,

“What a cultivator works on is always him or herself, and even the slightest change to your human thinking amounts to an improvement and will be witnessed by divine beings.” (“A Congratulatory Letter to the Fa Conference of Europe”)

There is no more excuse for me to complain about conflicts or pressure. I must start from the slightest changes and always remember to work on myself.
