(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 12 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 15 were illegally arrested.

Ms. Li Wenjun from Kaiyuan Township was arrested on October 17, 2016. Ms. Zhao Yuxuan from Shangying Town was arrested on October 18, 2016. Both practitioners were taken to the Shulan City Detention Center.

Ms. Li Junlan from Liuhe County was arrested on October 28, 2016. She is held in the Changliu Detention Center.
3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Fang Hong and Mr. Meng Qinglin Arrested
Officers from the Changchun Automobile Industrial Development Zone Police Station arrested Mr. Fang Hong and Mr. Meng Qinglin on October 27, 2016. Mr. Fang's home was ransacked.
4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Sukun Detained
Ms. Wang Sukun was arrested on October 24, 2016. She was taken to the Weizigou Detention Center.
5. [Tianjin] Ms. Li Lixin and Ms. Lu Shuying Arrested
Ms. Li Lixin and Ms. Lu Shuying were recently arrested.
6. [Wuhu City, Anhui Province] Mr. Mou Weimin Arrested
Mr. Mou Weimin was recently arrested and taken to a detention center. The police ransacked his home and confiscated Falun Gong books and other related items.
7. [Shanggao County, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Chen Qiufeng and Ms. Xiong Huanxiu Arrested
Ms. Chen Qiufeng and Ms. Xiong Huanxiu were arrested by officers from the Aoyang Police Department on October 27, 2016 for suing Jiang Zemin, the former head of the communist regime, who initiated the persecution of Falun Gong.

8. [Hanchuan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Jiang Haijiao Arrested
Ms. Jiang Haijiao, 52, from Xijiang Township, was arrested at home by officers from the Xijiang Township Police Station on October 26, 2016. She was taken to Hanchuan City.

9. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Ms. Liu Zhourong Detained
Ms. Liu Zhourong was traveling on the High Speed Rail on her way home to Huaihua City after visiting relatives in Changsha City on October 7, 2016. The South Changsha High Speed Rail Station police officers arrested her and confiscated items she carried and over 200 yuan paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them.
Ms. Liu was taken to the Changsha City No. 4 Women's Detention Center. She was transferred to the Houping Town Police Station, Zhangjiajie City by officers from the police station on October 11, 2016.
10. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Eleven Practitioners Taken to Prison
Ms. Jiang Wei has been taken to the Shenyang Women's Prison on October 25, 2016. Ms. Qi Xiaoyan, Ms. Xu Shuzhi, Ms. Chi Shuhua, and Ms. Lin Jiangmei were also taken to the prison.
Mr. Song Zhifu, Mr. Wang Qing, Mr. Zhou Ruixue, Mr. Wang Guojun, Mr. Feng Dianguo, and Mr. Wang Zhiguo were taken to the Jinzhou Prison.
11. [Shiquan County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Ye Cuilan Arrested
Ms. Ye Cuilan, 75, was arrested by officers from the Chihe Town Police Station for posting Falun Gong materials on September 19, 2016.
12. [Wuchang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Dong Xiaoli Tried
Ms. Dong Xiaoli from Shanhetun Forestry Bureau was sentenced to three and a half years in prison. Her family appealed to the Heilongjiang Forest Intermediate Court.
