(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 21 cities or counties in 12 provinces. According to this report, 10 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 23 were illegally arrested.

1. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Tian Caiying Mistreated in Prison
Ms. Tian Caiying, 60, from Nanyang area, Xinfu District, was arrested at home on April 22, 2016. While being held in the detention center, she developed lymph node tuberculosis, liver and kidney abnormalities. Her whole body was swollen. She is in critical condition. Her family asked for medical parole, which was denied by the detention center officials.
Later, Ms. Tian was secretly sentenced to seven years in prison. She was taken to the Fushun City Cancer Hospital for treatment in late November, was put in shackles and monitored by the police.

Mr. Du Xinggui was given a three-year prison term by the Shuncheng District on November 28, 2016. He was taken to the Nangou Detention Center. The detention center refused to admit him because he failed the required physical exam. He has returned home.

Court personnel led by Qiao Jianhua, head of the Jiangyang District Domestic Security Division, went to Mr. Zhao Zhaoquan's home on November 25, 2016 to deliver a verdict. Mr. Zhao was given a two-and-a-half-year prison term and fined 3,000 yuan.
4. [Pingba County, Guizhou Province] Mr. Cai Wei Sentenced to Prison
Mr. Cai Wei, a retired worker from the Liyang Company, was arrested on May 7, 2015. He was given a two-and-a-half-year prison term on November 17, 2016.
5. [Benxi County, Liaoning Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
Mr. Xu Chunxue, Ms. Wang Shufen, Ms. Yang Yuxiang, and a female practitioner named Xiaoling, from Mengjia Village, Qinghe County, were reported and arrested on December 4, 2016 for talking to people about Falun Gong. Their homes were ransacked.
6. [Xifeng County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Yang Guoquan Arrested
Mr. Yang Guoquan, from Juxiang Village, Gaojiadian Town, was arrested by officers from the Weiyuanpu Town Police Station, on the morning of December 5, 2016 for distributing calendars containing Falun Gong information in the Weiyuanpu Town Farmers Market.

Ms. Zhang Jinying was recently arrested.
8. [Liquan County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Sun Yanping Arrested
Ms. Sun Yanping was arrested around December 1, 2016 for talking to people about Falun Gong.
9. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Li Da Taken to Brainwashing Center
Mr. Li Da, a graduate student at the Hubei University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, was arrested on December 1, 2016. He was held in the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center.
10. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Lin Haixia and Mr. Li Wanxiu Detained
Ms. Lin Haixia and Mr. Li Wanxiu were arrested by officers from the Mingzhu Police Station on November 24, 2016 for distributing calendars in the Mingzhu Residential Community. The officers confiscated their Falun Gong books and truth-clarification materials. Both practitioners were transferred to the Changchun No. 4 Detention Center two days later.

11. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhong Yingwei Arrested
Mr. Zhong Yingwei was arrested by officers from Yongji Police Station on December 1, 2016 for talking to people about Falun Gong. Her whereabouts are unknown.
12. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Mr. Jiang Yunqiu Detained
Mr. Jiang Yunqiu was arrested at the Huaihua City Train Station waiting room by officers from the Railway Police Station on the morning of November 29, 2016. He was held in the Railway Detention Center.
13. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Cuihua Arrested
Ms. Wang Cuihua was recently arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division for talking to people about Falun Gong.
14. [Beijing] Ms. Liu Yanmei Arrested
Ms. Liu Yanmei from the Shunyi District was arrested in the Blues Salon Residential Community, Jiukeshu area, Tongzhou District, on November 29, 2016. Her home was ransacked.
15. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Jun Arrested
Mr. Li Jun was arrested in mid-November 2016. The police ransacked his home and confiscated a computer, a printer, and other personal belongings. His whereabouts are unknown.
16. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Geng Shuxiang Arrested
Ms. Geng Shuxiang from Shiwen Town was arrested by officers from the Shiwen Town Police Station on November 29, 2016.
17. [Anqing City, Anhui Province] Ms. Xia Niuxiu Arrested
Ms. Xia Niuxiu, 63, was arrested at home on the morning of November 15, 2016. She was taken to the Renmin Road Police Station. The officers confiscated Falun Gong books and other personal belongings. Ms. Xia has returned home.
18. [Jiuquan City, Gansu Province] Ms. Zhang Tianyun Arrested
Ms. Zhang Tianyun was arrested at home on the evening of November 23, 2016. The police ransacked her home and confiscated her computer, printer, Falun Gong books, and other personal belongings.
19. [Linzhang County, Hebei Province] Ms. Qing Mei Detained
Ms. Qing Mei was arrested and taken to the Handan No. 3 Detention Center on November 29, 2016 by officers from the Domestic Security Division.
20. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Four Practitioners Detained
Ms. Fang Hong, Ms. Cai Ronghui, Mr. Wang Hui, and Mr. Meng Qinglin were arrested by officers from the Qichechang Police Station when they were distributing calendars that contain information about Falun Gong on October 27, 2016.
The officers ransacked Ms. Fang's home and confiscated her computer, printer, 6,000 yuan in cash, and other personal belongings.
The four practitioners are held in the Changchun City No. 2 Detention Center. Family visits are denied.

Ms. Xiao Fanglian went near the Baqiao District Court to support Ms. Zhang Lianxiang, who was on trial, on November 25, 2016. She was arrested by officers from the Xi'an City 610 Office and the Baqiao Police Station. She was taken to the Xinhe Neighborhood Brainwashing Center.

Ms. Luo Yuhua, 55, was arrested on October 16, 2016 for distributing Falun Gong informational materials in Shuangqiao Park. She is held in a detention center.

Ms. Wang was arrested by Wang Hao, a Qingtongxia Domestic Security Division officer, on the afternoon of November 30, 2016. Her computer and printer were confiscated.
Officers from the Domestic Security Division broke into Ms. Zhang's home and arrested her on the evening of November 30, 2016.
