(Minghui.org) A Dalian City resident was arrested for the seventh time for refusing to renounce Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline being persecuted by the Chinese communist regime.
Ms. Wang Weizhen, 68, is a retired military doctor and lecturer from the Dalian Military Medical School of the Shenyang Military Region. She credits Falun Gong with her return to health, and has never shied away from telling people that the persecution is wrong.
Her simple acts have landed her in police custody numerous times. Prior to her latest arrest on December 16, 2016, she had been arrested six times between 2001 and 2014. She was sentenced to eight years in prison following her sixth arrest. The authorities released her on medical parole after she failed the required medical examination.
It has been learned that the Taoyuanjie Police Station was responsible for Ms. Wang’s seventh arrest, but details remain to be investigated.
