(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 6 provinces. According to this report, 4 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 17 were illegally arrested.

1. [Baozhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Xue Zenglong and Mr. Rong Jingfu Arrested
Mr. Xue Zenglong, living in Tangerli, Bazhou City was arrested at the Dachang County Security Checkpoint by officers from the Dachang Police Station on March 2, 2016 while he was on his way to Xianghe County. He is incarcerated at the Bazhou City Detention Center.
Mr. Rong Jingfu, living in Shengfang Town, Bazhou City, was detained at the Dachang County Security Checkpoint on March 4, 2016 when he asked that Mr. Xue's vehicle be retuned. He is incarcerated at the Bazhou city Detention Center.

2. [Jining City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Detained
Mr. Huang Shiqi was arrested on February 2, 2016 by officers from the Taidong Police Station. He was detained for 10 days.
Three practitioners were arrested on March 2, 2016. Mr. Wang Xiangwei was arrested by officers from the Hongxingxinchun Police Station, and detained for 5 days. Ms. Zhao Jing was arrested by officers from the Fuqiao Police Station and detained for 5 days. Mr. Liu was arrested by officers from the Guanyinge Police Station and detained for 6 days.
3. [Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Zhang Xuezhen Arrested
Ms. Zhang Xuezhen was arrested on her way home after work on March 3, 2016. Police ransacked her home, confiscated her computer, printer, and Falun Gong books. Her whereabouts are unknown.
4. [Beijing] Mr. Jing Baozhong Arrested
Mr. Jing Baozhong was arrested on the afternoon of March 2, 2016 for suing Jiang Zemin. Officers from the Wanshoulu Police Station broke into his home, took him away, and ransacked his home.

5. [Yanji City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhu Xiyu and Ms. Wu Chunyan Arrested
Mr. Zhu Xiyu and Ms. Wu Chunyan were arrested on March 3, 2016 by Zheng Zhezhu from the Yanji City Domestic Security Division and officers from the Henan Police Station.
6. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Gao Fenglian and Ms. Zhang Shuhua Arrested
Ms. Gao Fenglian and Ms. Zhang Shuhua were arrested on March 4, 2016 while they were talking to people about Falun Gong in Sunhu Village, Huancheng Township. They are incarcerated at a detention center.
7. [Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province] Additional Information About Four Practitioners' Arrest
Ms. Wang Qing, Ms. Gao Jingyun, Ms. Huang Lihua, and Ms. Yang Shujun from Zhaodong City, Suihua City were arrested on February 26, 2016 by officers from the Shangjia Town Police Station and Zhaodong City Police Department. Someone reported them to police while they were talking to people about Falun Gong in Shangjia Town, Zhaodong City. Ms. Huang and Ms. Wang are held at the Anda Brainwashing Center. Ms. Yang and Ms. Gao are incarcerated at the Suihua Criminal Detention Center.

8. [Xifeng County, Liaoning Province] 15 Falun Gong Practitioners Harassed
The last quarter of 2015 saw 15 Falun Gong practitioners from Xifeng County harassed at home or arrested for filing lawsuits against former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin for launching the persecution of Falun Gong.
Ms. Wang Qing was harassed at home in mid-October and forced to sign a statement promising to renounce Falun Gong.
Mr. Tian Yongfu and Ms. Wang Lihua were arrested on October 19, 2015. Mr. Tian was released 15 days later after the police extorted 1,000 yuan from his family. Ms. Wang managed to escape while being sent to the local detention center. The police launched a manhunt for her and re-arrested her two months later. She is now held at Tieling City Detention Center. Ms. Zhao Min was arrested together with Ms. Wang, but her whereabouts are still being investigated.
The police also extorted 1,000 yuan from each of the following practitioners: Zhang Renlan, 78, Ge Xiuying, 70, Miao Shuzeng, Jin Shuxiang, Liu Jingxian, Xiao Shulan, and Wang Deying. All these women were also forced to have their fingerprints taken.
He Yanhua was detained for five years in late November. Ms. Cui was summoned to the police station to be fingerprinted.
The police ransacked the home of Ms. Wen Qinglan and detained her daughter Ms. Wang Xinxing for five days.
9. [Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Nanfang Arrested Again
Mr. Wang Nanfang was arrested right outside his home on March 4, 2016. The police claimed that someone reported him for installing satellite dishes to help local residents watch programs which expose the persecution of Falun Gong.
Mr. Wang was given 15 days of detention and now held at Nangou Detention Center.
This is the third time Mr. Wang was arrested. He was twice given forced labor and brutally tortured in the past for refusing to give up his belief in Falun Gong. His family is extremely concerned about his well being now that he is detained again.
