(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 21 cities or counties in 10 provinces. According to this report, 13 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 20 were illegally arrested. Several practitioners seeking to mail letters of complaint regarding Jiang Zemin to the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Supreme Court have met with obstacles.

Ms. Ma Fengrong and Ms. Kou Yonglan were arrested on April 7, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Kou was detained for six days. Ms. Ma was later released due to high blood pressure.

4. [Bazhong City, Sichuan Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Gou Jufen, 73, Mr. Deng Tingru, 88, and Mr. Chen Huaizheng, 73, were arrested by officers from the Domestic Security Division on April 7, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Gou is still detained at Bazhou District Detention Center. Mr. Chen and Mr. Deng were later released.

5. [Rizhao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Weiying Arrested
Ms. Liu Weiying was arrested at home by officers from the Lanshan District Domestic Security Division on April 5, 2016. Ms. Liu was taken to a police station in the Lanshan District for interrogation. The police ransacked her home and confiscated her Falun Gong books, printers, laptop computers, and approximately 10,000 yuan.
The next day, she was taken to a detention center, but later released because she failed the physical examination.

Ms. Mo Yuhua was tried on April 13, 2016.
7. [Xuchang City, Henan Province] Ms. Wang Xiuzhen Detained
Ms. Wang Xiuzhen, 62, was placed on trial by the Weidu District Court on April 11, 2016. She is still detained at the Xuchang City Detention Center.
8. [Tianjin] Ms. Jiang Yahui Detained
Ms. Jiang Yahui was recently transferred from the Nankai Detention Center to Hebei the District Detention Center.
9. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wu Runlian Harassed
Ms. Wu Runlian was frequently harassed by officers from the Laoyazhuang Police Station and the Zhongxin Elementary School for suing Jiang Zemin. She was recently called to that police station to sign documents.
10. [Jintang County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Fan Zhenxiu and Ms. Gong Daying Detained
Ms. Fan Zhenxiu and Ms. Gong Daying, in their 60s, were arrested by officers from the local police station on April 8, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They are detained at the Jintang County Detention Center.

11. [Chongqing] Ms. Duan Zaiying Harassed
Ms. Duan Zaiying was harassed at her home by officers from the Tuqiao Police Station in Banan District and the Huaxi 610 Office on April 7, 2016. The police ordered her not to go out to post informational stickers about the persecution of Falun Gong, or she would be subject to persecution.
12. [Jining City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yang Xiaoqin Arrested
Ms. Yang Xiaoqin was arrested and taken to the Jining City Detention Center.
13. [Tieling City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Yang Guizhi and Mr. Wang Shengxin Sentenced
Mr. Yang Guizhi was sentenced to a three-year and three-month prison term and Mr. Wang Shengxin to a three-year and six-month prison term. Their family members went to see them on April 7, 2016, but their visit was not allowed.
14. [Liangshan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Jiang Yuehua Arrested
Ms. Jiang Yuehua's studio was ransacked by officers from the Beiqu Police Station on the morning of March 31, 2016. At noon, the police arrested her, ransacked her home, and confiscated Falun Gong books and a picture of the founder of Falun Gong.

Ms. Wang Wenling was arrested by plainclothes officers for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.
16. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Fu Xirong's Home Ransacked
Mr. Fu Xirong's home was ransacked by three officers from the Beimeng Town Police Station on December 21, 2015. The police confiscated all Falun Gong books, a set of Falun Gong teachings, exercise music, an exercise demonstration tape, two dozen Shen Yun Performing Arts DVDs, informational DVDs about the persecution of Falun Gong, a player, a DVD player, six volumes of "Minghui Weekly," two 2016 desk calendars, an MP3 player, two recorders, and other personal items.
Mr. Fu's home was ransacked again on March 6, 2016. The police confiscated two Falun Gong books, three volumes of "Minghui Weekly," and an MP3 player.
17. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Xingrong Imprisoned
Ms. Liu Xingrong was arrested on June 3, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was detained at Xiaobaishan Detention Center.
Ms. Liu was tried and sentenced to a three-year prison term by Changyi District Court. She was recently taken to Changchun Women's Prison.
18. [Fuyang City, Anhui Province] Ms. Yang Xiulu Detained
Ms. Yang Xiulu was recently arrested by officers, led by director Zhang Yu, from Zhuanji Town Police Station for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was detained at Fuyang City Detention Center for 15 days.
19. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Xiaoyan Arrested
Ms. Liu Xiaoyan was harassed at home by officers from the Pingdu Police Department on April 8, 2016. Her home was ransacked. She was arrested and taken to that police department on April 9, 2016.

20. [Xiangtan City, Hunan Province] Mr. Guo Mingqing Detained
Mr. Guo Mingqing was detained for 15 days until April 6, 2016. Instead of being released he was sentenced to criminal detention by the Xiangtan City Police Department. He is currently detained at the Xiangtan City Detention Center.

Ms. Ye Huiqun was arrested by officers from the Dadongjie Police Station on April 8, 2016, for suing Jiang Zemin. She was taken to a brainwashing center.

22. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Zhong Zhaofen, Ms. Han Lianhua, Ms. Yuan Xiqing, and Ms. Wang Guimei were harassed for suing Jiang Zemin. They were arrested and taken to a detention center on April 9, 2016.
23. [Baoqing County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Guiqin Detained
Ms. Li Guiqin was arrested by officers on April 6, 2016, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was detained at the Dongfanghong Forestry Bureau Detention Center for seven days.
Her family went to the detention center to see her on April 8. Ji Guosheng (纪国胜), director of the detention center, extorted 500 yuan from her family and did not give them a receipt.
