1. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Gao Yixi Passes Away Due to Persecution
Mr. Gao Yixi and his wife Ms. Sun Fengxia were arrested by Lu Hongfeng, deputy head of the Yuanming Community Police Office affiliated with the Xianfeng Police Department, and other officers on the evening of April 19, 2016. The couple were held in the Mudanjiang No. 2 Detention Center.
Mr. Gao passed away on April 29, 2016 as a result of brutal abuse. He was only 46 years old. After his death, his eyes stayed wide open, and his arms were stiff and stretched out in both directions. Both his wrists had obvious handcuff marks. His chest and back were swollen. His wife is still held in a detention center.

Ms. Li Xiuyun from Qinyang City was arrested and taken to the Jiaozuo City Detention Center by officers from the Qinyang City Domestic Security Division when she distributed Falun Gong informational materials on April 28, 2016.
3. [Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Deng Shaoqun Detained
Ms. Deng Shaoqun, 63, from Cangxi County, was arrested by Zhang Yun, an officer from the State Security Division, and officers from the Shuilu Police Station in Lingjiang Town when she was heading downstairs to have a haircut on the morning of April 22, 2016. She was taken to the Shuilu Police Station. She was taken to the Guangyuan City Detention Center that evening.

4. [Anyang County, Henan Province] Four Practitioners Detained
Mr. Li Jicheng, Mr. Liu Guangping, Mr. Zhao Fuyu, and Ms. Wang Shaoying were arrested by officers from the Leikou Township Police Station when they distributed Falun Gong informational materials in Bujutou Village in Leikou Township on the afternoon of April 30, 2016. Their homes were ransacked. They are held in the Anyang County Detention Center.
5. [Tai'an City, Shandong Province] Mr. Cao Yuguang and Wife Ms. Li Qin Tried
The Xintai City Court sentenced Mr. Cao Yuguang and Ms. Li Qin each to ten years in prison in early 2016. The Tai'an City Intermediate Court returned the cases for retrial. The Xintai City Court had scheduled the second trial on May 23, 2016.

6. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhang Zhiming Arrested
Mr. Zhang Zhiming was arrested by the police when he talked to people about Falun Gong on the afternoon of May 1, 2016. He was taken to the Minkanglu Police Station for interrogation.
7. [Jingjiang City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Wang Yuying Detained
Ms. Wang Yuying was arrested and taken to the Maqiao Police Station when telling people about Falun Gong on April 27, 2016. She was taken to the Jingjiang Detention Center.
8. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yang Shujun Sentenced to Prison
Ms. Yang Shujun from Fularji District was placed in criminal detention in December 2015 for suing Jiang Zemin. The Fularji District Court held a trial against her on the morning of April 29, 2016. Ms. Yang was sentenced to three and a half years in prison. She was taken to the Qiqihar City No. 1 Detention Center.
9. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Yang Xiaogang and Wife Ms. Li Yulan Arrested
Mr. Yang Xiaogang and his wife Ms. Li Yulan were arrested by officers from the 610 Office in the Jiamusi Police Department on January 22, 2016. The officers confiscated printers, cell phones, computers, and Falun Gong books. The couple was taken to the Xilin Police Station.
Subsequently, the couple was taken to the Jiamusi City Detention Center. An inmate kicked Mr. Yang's abdomen so hard that he could not move his right leg. After 15 days of detention, Mr. Yang was released on bail. Ms. Li has remained in custody.
10. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Leng Hairu Taken to Brainwashing Center
Mr. Leng Hairu, in his 70s, from Shihua Village, Qingshan District, was arrested by officers from the Qingshan Police Station when distributing Falun Gong informational materials on the afternoon of April 28, 2016. His home was ransacked. He was taken to the Laobeihu Brainwashing Center in Qingshan District.
