(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 25 cities or counties in 11 provinces. According to this report, 8 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 53 were illegally arrested.

Ms. Song Huichan and Mr. Wang Changshou were recently tried by the Binhai District Court. Ms. Song was sentenced to a three year prison term, and Mr. Wang to a three-and-a-half year prison term.
2. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Meixin Arrested
Ms. Wang Meixin was arrested by officers from the Beigandao Police Station on June 26, 2016, for delivering informational letters about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police ransacked her home and confiscated a computer, Falun Gong books, and other personal belongings.

3. [Meishan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Tian Shiqun Detained
Ms. Tian Shiqun, arrested on June 2, 2016, is detained in the Dayi County Detention Center.
4. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Ms. Han Shuqin Detained
Ms. Han Shuqin was arrested and detained by officers from the local Domestic Security Division on May 17, 2016.

Mr. Zheng Wencai was arrested by officers from the Bazhou City Domestic Security Division on May 28, 2016. He is being detained in the Bazhou Detention Center. The police ransacked his home and confiscated printers, computers, Falun Gong books, and other personal belongings.

Ms. Xing Shuhua was arrested by plainclothes officers on June 6, 2016, for distributing stickers with information about the persecution of Falun Gong.

7. [Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Wu Tingyuan and Mr. He Yujun Sentenced
Mr. Wu Tingyuan and Mr. He Yujun were sentenced by the Xinbei District Court on June 7, 2016. Mr. Wu was sentenced to eight years and Mr. He to four-and-a-half years in prison.
8. [Jining City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Xiling Detained
Ms. Wang Xiling was arrested by officers from the Guanyingge Police Station on June 6, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is being held at a detention center.
9. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Five Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Sun Shuqing, from Jimo City, was recently arrested for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong.
Ms. Li Hongrui was also arrested when she visited Ms. Sun's home. Ms. Li's daughter was also arrested.
Mr. Qiu Qinghua and Mr. Zhang Pengwei were arrested and taken to the Pudong Detention Center on June 7, 2016. Mr. Qiu was released that afternoon because he developed heart disease.
10. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Wenqing Arrested
Mr. Zhang Wenqing was arrested and had his home ransacked on June 7, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. He was taken to the Changchun Street Police Station.

11. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhou Guihua Sentenced
Ms. Zhou Guihua was tried for the third time by the Linqu County Court on June 7, 2016. She was sentenced to a two year prison term and fined 5,000 yuan. She appealed to a higher court.

12. [Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province] Four Practitioners Detained
Ms. Wei Yulian, Ms. Tang Yue, Ms. He Fengrong, and Ms. Wang Jingfeng were arrested on June 7, 2016 by officers from the Jinhe Police Station and Beilin District 610 Office, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They are being detained in the Suihua City Detention Center.
13. [Hebi City, Henan Province] Ms. Liu Aixiang Detained
Ms. Liu Aixiang was arrested on May 20, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is being detained in the Pang Village Detention Center.
14. [Bengbu City, Anhui Province] Thirteen Practitioners Arrested
Thirteen practitioners have been arrested by Wang Shanguo and officers from the Bengbu City 610 Office since May 2016.
The arrested practitioners include Ms. Zhang Jinling, Ms. Liu Yantao, Ms. Gao Naili, Mr. Liang Huaiyuan, Ms. Zhai Huiping, Ms. Li Yuxia, Ms. Cai Xuehua, Mr. Yao Mingzhi, Ms. Chang Suxia, Mr. Jiang Chuanliang, Ms. Ma Lianfang, Ms. Wu Yinhua, and Ms. Qian Xiuling.
They were taken to a detention center and brainwashing center. Ms. Zhang, Ms. Liu, Ms. Gao, Ms. Cai, and Ms. Wu were released. Ms. Zhai was taken to a prison.
15. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Meifang Detained
Ms. Wang Meifang and her daughter were arrested and taken to the Beiwangzhu Police Station on June 7, 2016, for posting stickers with information about the persecution of Falun Gong on them.
Her daughter was released the next afternoon and Ms. Wang was detained for 15 days.
16. [Beijing] Ms. Li Guihong and Ms. Jing Xuqin Detained
Ms. Li Guihong and Ms. Jing Xuqin were arrested on May 17, 2016, and detained for seven days. They were taken to a brainwashing center on May 24.

Nine practitioners, including Ms. Zhao Lingli, Mr. Sun Zhiwei, Mr. Li Zhenmin, Ms. Xie Ling, and Ms. Chen Huixia, were arrested on June 3, 2016, for reading Falun Gong books together. They were given a six-month residential surveillance.

18. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xiao Peiyan Detained
Ms. Xiao Peiyan was arrested by officers form the Pingluo Town Police Station on June 2, 2016, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is being detained in the Zhaohua Detention Center.
19. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Yunying and Ms. Zhang Jixia Arrested
Ms. Li Yunying and Ms. Zhang Jixia were arrested by officers from the Shahe Town Police Station on June 7, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police ransacked their homes. Ms. Zhang is detained in the Laizhou City Detention Center. The detention center refused to admit Ms. Li because she was physically ill.
20. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Li Taken to Prison
Ms. Liu Li was arrested by officers from the Minzhu Police Station in Shuangcheng District on July 21, 2015. She was detained at Harbin City No. 2 Detention Center.
Ms. Liu was tried and sentenced to a five year prison term on November 19, 2015, and taken to the Heilongjiang Women's Prison on April 20, 2016.

Ms. Liu Shurong was arrested by plainclothes officers on June 8, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was taken to the Aohan Banner Police Department.

22. [Shanghai] Ms. He Pinqin Detained
Ms. He Pinqin was arrested on June 7, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was held in the Minhang Detention Center for 15 days.
23. [Chongqing] Ms. Liu Guibi Arrested
Ms. Liu Guibi was arrested by plainclothes officers on June 5, 2016, for posting stickers with information about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was taken to the Fuxing Police Station and released that day.
24. [Beijing] Ms. Li Shuqing Detained
Ms. Li Shuqing was arrested at home by officers from the Shayu Police Station on May 9, 2016. She was detained in the Chaoyang District No. 1 Detention Center, and released due to high blood pressure.
25. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Yue and Others Arrested
Ms. Li Yue and several practitioners were arrested on June 27, 2016 by officers from the Dawulan Town Police Station. The police confiscated Falun Gong books and several volumes of the “Minghui Weekly.”
26. [Urumqi City, Xinjiang] Ms. Yan Xuehua Detained
Ms. Yan Xuehua was arrested on June 7, 2016, for distributing software to circumvent the Internet blockade. She is being detained in the Liudaowan Detention Center.
27. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Five Practitioners Arrested
Five practitioners were arrested by officers from the Yangliuzhuang Police Station on June 6, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. They include Ms. Zhao Guizhen, Ms. Sun Yanzhi, Ms. Guo Yunfang, Ms. Dai, and Mr. Gu Zhi.
Ms. Sun, Ms. Dai, and Mr. Gu were taken to Luan County, Ms. Zhao was released, and Ms. Guo was taken to a hospital for treatment.
