(Minghui.org) The Chinese communist regime dismantled its forced labor system, but turned the notorious Masanjia Forced Labor Camp into a ward run by the Liaoning Women's Prison.

Three Falun Gong practitioners are illegally detained on the grounds, according to confidential sources. The same guards remain at Masanjia and have continued to abuse the practitioners.

Practitioner Ms. Xu Li was sentenced to four years in prison and sent to the Masanjia Ward in the summer of 2014. Because she refused to give up Falun Gong, Ms. Xu was forced to remain standing, motionless, until midnight after long hours of forced labor. She was denied the ability to shower despite the sweltering summer heat.

The guards turned inmates against her by making the inmates sit on small benches when she would not give up her belief.

In November 2014, the guards stripped off Ms. Xu's clothes. They tied her to a chair nude, slapped her, and jabbed her with electric batons. They wrote slanderous words on her face, body, socks, and shoes. They had inmates watch her closely.

Ms. Xu was frequently beaten for refusing to wear a prison badge and to sign statements against her will. She was forced to stand for long hours. She was denied family visits for months.

Two other practitioners, Ms. Miao Shuqing and Ms. Hu Guiying, both in their sixties, were severely tortured for their refusal to give up their belief.

Ms. Miao was brutally beaten and kicked, and the bruises have remained for six months. The guards grabbed her by the hair and slammed her head against the wall.

Ms. Hu was shocked with electric batons.
