(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Jin Min is in critical condition in the ICU of Tonghua City No. 3 Hospital. Two police officers are monitoring her.
Ms. Jin was arrested at home on August 19, 2016 and later taken to Changliu Detention Center. She started a hunger strike a month ago to protest the illegal detention.
Ms. Jin worked at Tonghua Steel Mill for years before she was fired for practicing Falun Gong. She was repeatedly detained and sent to forced labor camps for refusing to renounce her faith at the demands of Communist Party authorities.
Her two sisters are also serving prison sentences for practicing Falun Gong. In order to rescue her sisters, Ms. Jin and her father moved to a rental home in Jilin City. Officers from Taoyuan Police Station went to their rental home on August 19 and arrested her.
The Erdaojiang District Procuratorate has approved her arrest.
