Validating Falun Dafa At Work

(Minghui.org) My relationships with my family members and coworkers became more harmonious after I began practicing Falun Dafa in 1996. My story is just one example of how Master Li Hongzhi's teachings have helped me raise my moral values, and in turn, helped the company I work for become efficient and successful.

I used to work at a university administration office. However, due to the persecution, I was transferred to work in a logistics company's warehouse.

At that time, three schools were consolidated into one and then moved to a new location. Tons of materials were brought to the warehouse and stored randomly. In addition, because there was no computer system to inventory the items, everything was done manually, and finding specific things was very time consuming.

After I got there, I did a thorough cleanup. I first submitted applications for all the items. I then numbered the items and materials and entered them into a computer system. I numbered each storage cabinet and also referenced them.

Everything could be found very quickly by using the computer. The new system was praised by everyone!

The teachers who came to check out things mentioned that I didn't act like a typical warehouse staff person. They felt that I was very nice and good with computers. I told them that I practiced Falun Dafa.

The CEO of the logistics company was very hard working and was always looking for innovative ways to do things. He was very pleased with my work and said that all Falun Dafa practitioners were good people. When he learned that I had a high-level degree, he felt that my skills could be more fully utilized outside the warehouse.

At that time, few of the company's managers knew how to use computers, and almost no one had any kind of management training. Most of the workers were local farmers, and many had received little education. The CEO had a thousand employees like this, and it would be hard for him to be successful without someone proficient with computers or management skills.

So when the CEO learned of my background, he assigned me to train the company's staff. He told me to do whatever I felt would be best for the company.

I knew that in order for the company to survive in the fiercely competitive market and get the recognition it deserved, it must rely on advanced management and be able to give customers the most reliable service. So, I strived to train the employees from this perspective.

I first held a class called “office automation” for the company's management staff. They all successfully passed the city-level computer test and received competency certificates. They were very happy. The CEO was especially pleased, and said that I had greatly helped him.

I then contacted the university's networking center (I had been the school's network webmaster) and had the team set up Internet connections for the logistics company's offices. Once every office was online, I taught the managers how to get on the Internet, how to send and receive emails, and so on. From then on, they used computers instead of paperwork.

In order to improve the quality of the services we provided and standardize everything, I invited experts from each field to come to the company to train our workers. This included training on service etiquette, dorm management, fire prevention, cooking, drivers licenses, etc.

I then took the managers to other companies which had relatively good management systems so they could learn from them. I also gave training within the company for ISO9001 quality management.

Because of my performance, the people who worked for the universities and logistics company changed their views completely towards Falun Dafa. They realized that practitioners are good people.

Everyone wanted to contact me when they needed help. I was also awarded the title, “advanced worker” for the first half of the year. Some people from the school specifically came to talk to the CEO and the secretary of the logistics company and asked them to make sure that I was not persecuted.

The managers all treated me very well. When the 610 Office personnel came to harass me from time to time, the managers told them, “She is a very good person and her work is exceptional. The company cannot be without her.”

When I was illegally detained in a detention center, they frequently came to visit me. They talked to officials in the local court and told them that I was a good person and a backbone employee in the company.

When I was released from the detention center, the CEO came to pick me up. He was very happy, and welcomed me back.

Before I began practicing Falun Dafa, I had practiced other forms of qigong. When I first acquired a copy of the book Zhuan Falun, I immediately began reading it. I was deeply moved by the profound principles and read the entire book in one sitting.

I was in total shock! Even though I had practiced other disciplines, I still had many questions which were all clearly answered in Zhuan Falun. I felt like a long lost kid who had finally found her family. I was very excited and happy!

I stopped practicing the other things and solely focused on practicing Falun Dafa.

I now always try to do things according to Falun Dafa's principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. I always strive to be a better person, be considerate and kind towards others, and always think of others first. As a result, I've become more compassionate and tolerant, and my health has continued to get better and better.

I'm very happy to know that more people understand that the persecution is wrong and are able to treat Dafa practitioners well. I know that those who treat Dafa kindly will be blessed.
