Mr. Lian Jing was secretly tried at the Shenbei New Area Court on July 27, 2016. He was given a three-year prison term. He was taken to the Benxi Prison in October 2016.

2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yuan Xiaoman Sentenced to Three and a Half Years in Prison
Ms. Yuan Xiaoman was arrested by officers from the Kunming Street Police Station on May 12, 2016 for suing Jiang Zemin, the former head of the communist regime who initiated the persecution of Falun Gong. She was sentenced to three and a half years in prison and fined 5,000 yuan on December 23, 2016.
3. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Hu Xiaoling and Ms. Wei Jinglian Taken to Brainwashing Center
Ms. Hu Xiaoling was arrested on December 19, 2016. She is held in the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center, Wuchang District. Ms. Wei Jinglian was arrested on the same day. She was taken to the Etouwan Brainwashing Center, Hankou City.
4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Shuhua and Ms. Zhang Shuyun Arrested
Ms. Zhang Shuhua and Ms. Zhang Shuyun from the Yushu area were arrested by officers from the Tai'an Police Station on the morning of December 30, 2016 for talking to people about Falun Gong in Tai'an Township. Ms. Zhang Shuyun was released that evening. Ms. Zhang Shuhua was taken to the Yushu Detention Center for five days of detention.
5. [Tianjin] Mr. Li Wengang Taken to Gangbei Prison
Mr. Li Wengang was sentenced to four years in prison. The intermediate court turned down his appeal and upheld the original verdict. Mr. Li was taken to the Gangbei Prison on December 28, 2016.
6. [Jiujiang County, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Huang Xianfa Arrested
Mr. Huang Xianfa was arrested by officers from the Chengmen Police Station on December 31, 2016 for handing out Falun Gong informational calendars in Chengmen Township.
7. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Han Xinying and Ms. Wang Chunxiao Arrested
Ms. Han Xinying and Ms. Wang Chunxiao were arrested by officers from the Daotian Town Police Station on the morning of December 31, 2016 for talking to people about Falun Gong at the Daotian Town farmers market.
8. [Beijing] Ms. Lu Shangchun Given a Three-and-a-Half-Year Prison Term
Ms. Lu Shangchun was arrested in September 2016 for exchanging paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them. She was recently sentenced to three and a half years in prison by the Changping District Court. She is held in the No. 10 Squadron, Jinzhong Prison.

9. [Shanghai] Ms. Chen Wei Detained
Ms. Chen Wei from Shandong Province was arrested by officers from the Xuhui Police Department's Domestic Security Division and the Changqiao New Village Police Station, Shanghai, on December 16, 2016 for distributing Falun Gong materials in Shanghai. She is held in the Xuhui District Detention Center.

10. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ma Xueqing Given a Three-Year-and-Six-Month Prison Term
Ms. Ma Xueqing was recently sentenced to three and a half years in prison and fined 10,000 yuan by the Zhongshan Distinct Court.
11. [Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Lu Taochun Detained
Ms. Lu Taochun, who cultivates in a nunnery in Meichuan Town, Wuxue City, was arrested on the evening of December 30, 2016. She is held in the Wuxue City Detention Center.
12. [Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Zhang Guili Given a Two-Year Prison Term
Ms. Zhang Guili from the Lianyun District was recently sentenced to two years in prison by the Lianyun District Public Security Division, the procuratorate, and the court. She has appealed the sentence.
13. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Yaqin Detained
Ms. Zhang Yaqin, 59, was arrested by officers from the Xin'an Police Station on December 29, 2016 for hanging a Falun Gong informational display board in the Jiangbei area. She was taken to the Jilin City Detention Center for 15 days of detention.
14. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Jiang Chuanhong Given a Three-Year Prison Term
Mr. Jiang Chuanhong was sentenced to three years in prison on July 28, 2016. He was taken to the New Inmates Ward, Liaonan Prison. It is not clear where he is now located.
15. [Beijing] Ms. Zuo Huiying Given a Two-Year Prison Term
Ms. Zuo Huiying from Yanqing County was sentenced to two years in prison on December 29, 2016. She has appealed the sentencing.

Ms. Han Xiulan and Ms. Chen Shufan from Beilin District were arrested by officers from the Beilin District 610 Office on the afternoon of December 29, 2016 for talking to people about Falun Gong. The officers confiscated Falun Gong books and booklets. Both practitioners were taken to the Suihua City Detention Center.
