Ms. Diao Chunfeng and Ms. Wen Yu from Longkou City were arrested and their homes were ransacked by officers from the Shiliang Police Station on January 16, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong at the Shiliang farmers market. Both practitioners were taken to the Zhangjiagou Detention Center for 10 days of detention.

Mr. Zhu Qiangong, Mr. Liu Qingfu, and Mr. Gao Yulin from the Daoli District were taken to Hulan Prison on January 18, 2017. Ms. Liu Shuhua is held in the No. 2 Detention Center.
Mr. Zhu and Mr. Liu became emaciated as a result of torture. Mr. Gao suffered from high blood pressure and hospitalized in Hulan Prison Hospital.

Mr. Zhao Changsheng and Mr. Liu Liangmin from Changle County were each sentenced to three years in prison on January 19, 2017. Both practitioners were taken to the Shandong Province Prison.

Ms. Chen Lixin, Ms. Yang Lixin, Ms. Li Youju, and Ms. Du Fengqin from Qinglong County were sentenced to prison. The Chengde City Intermediate Court upheld the original verdicts on January 13, 2017. The four practitioners were taken to the Shijiazhuang Women's Prison on January 17, 2017.

Mr. Zhang Changping, in his 40s, from Xigao Town, Guanghan City, was arrested in Xinping Town by officers from the Xinping Town Police Station on January 24, 2017.

Mr. Liu Jiageng from Beimeng Town, Changyi City, was arrested by Beimeng Police Station officers on the morning of January 19, 2017. He was released that afternoon and returned home.

Ms. Huang Shuying was arrested by officers from the Yakeshi Forest Police Department on the morning of December 22, 2016. She is now in the Dalin Detention Center.
8. [Tianjin] Mr. Ma Hongzhi Detained
Mr. Ma Hongzhi was recently arrested. He is in the Hedong Detention Center.
9. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Pan and Wife Ms. Cao Detained
Mr. Pan and his wife Ms. Cao from the Wuchang District were followed and arrested by plainclothes officers on January 19, 2017, for distributing Falun Gong materials. Mr. Pan is being held in the Qingling Detention Center. Ms. Cao is in the Erzhigou Detention Center in the Dongxihu District.
10. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sui Ying Arrested
Ms. Sui Ying from the Qingdao Development Zone was arrested by officers from the Changjianglu Police Station on the afternoon of January 24, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong.

11. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhen Hongmei Taken to Prison
Ms. Zhen Hongmei was arrested by officers from the Shouguang Domestic Security Division on May 18, 2016. She was held in the Weifang Detention Center for eight months. She was later sentenced to three years in prison in the Shouguang City Court. She was taken to the Shandong Women's Prison on January 19, 2017.
12. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xiong Wenfeng and Ms. Zhu Huanmei Detained
Ms. Xiong Wenfeng, 50, from the Huangpu District was arrested by Liuzhijie Police Station officers on January 12, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong. They ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books. She was detained in the Wuhan City Women's No. 1 Detention Center for 10 days. She has returned home.
