(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 10 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 18 were illegally arrested.

1. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Sun Zhiying, her daughter and son, from Nongan County were arrested on March 7, 2017, by officers from the Kuancheng District Police Department. The officers confiscated their Falun Gong books, 2 notebook computers, a tablet, color printer, and several cell phones.
Ms. Sun and her daughter are being held at Changchun City No. 4 Detention Center on Haoyue Boulevard. Her son is being held at Changchun No. 1 Detention Center.
2. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Ma Yuling Arrested
Ms. Ma Yuling was arrested soon after she stepped onto a train to Yushun in the Changchun Railroad Station on the afternoon of February 10, 2017.
Several officers took her to the railroad police station and searched her luggage. They confiscated two cell phones, an electronic book, 900 yuan, and her bank and ID card.
She was later taken to the Yushu Railroad Police Station, where she managed to break free from the handcuffs and escape while the officers were sleeping. Ms. Ma has since stayed away from her home to avoid being arrested again.
3. [Rizhao City, Shandong Province] Additional Information on Ms. Gong Hua
Ms. Gong Hua was arrested by officers from the Donggang Police Department on February 13, 2017. They confiscated her car keys, house keys, cell phone, 600 yuan, bank card, and other personal items. She was taken to a detention center.
Police took Ms. Gong to her home on her third day in detention. They searched it and confiscated a picture of the Falun Gong teacher, a dozen Falun Gong books, a computer, 2 notebook computers, 3 printers, and many other personal items. They also tore down the couplet on her door.
4. [Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Guangrong Arrested
Ms. Zhang Guangrong was arrested at her home on March 7, 2017. Police also ransacked the place.
5. [Laixi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Shulian and Ms. Zhang Chunlan Detained
Ms. Li Shulian and Ms. Zhang Chunlan were arrested on March 9, 2017, and taken to the Pudong Detention Center in Jimo City that night.

6. [Xinjiang County, Shanxi Province] Ms. Wang Liping Arrested
Ms. Wang Liping was arrested at her home on March 11, 2017, by officers from Quanzhang Police Station.
7. [Beihai City, Guangxi Autonomous Region] Several Practitioners Harassed
Ms. Lin Yanxing and Ms. Weng Liangfen were harassed at home on March 2, 2017, by people from the Yintan Town government. They seized three Falun Gong banners.
Mr. Wang Hewei, Ms. Hua Shaolan, Mr. Pan Xing, Ms. Lin, and Ms. Weng were harassed at home on March 6, 2017, by four people from the Yintan Town government. They were also found to have Falun Gong banners and couples on their doors. Those from the government threatened to tear the couplets down.
Ms. Chen Xue was harassed at her home on the evening of March 4, 2017, by officers from Jianshe Police Station.
8. [Jurong City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Qu Beixiang Suffered Mistreatment
Ms. Qu Beixiang was interrogated at Jurong City Police Department last year. She was subjected to verbal abuse, beating, and sleep deprivation. Her hands were cuffed behind her back the whole time, and she was given only a little water and a small piece of bread each day.
She was detained for another 32 days at Zhengjiang City Detention Center 15 days later, before being released.
Ms. Qu was tricked into going to Huayang Police Station on February 22, 2016. Officers extorted 5,000 yuan from her for her bail.
She was repeatedly harassed at home or by calls and had to leave to avoid further harassment. She went back home at the end of 2016.
Ms. Qu was notified by mail from Huayang Police Station in early February 2017 that she could get her money back from the bank because the bail period had expired. When she went there, she was detained by officers from Huayang Police Station.

9. [Nanchang County, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Wang Hongsheng and Ms. Zhang Xianghua Detained
Mr. Wang Hongsheng and Ms. Zhang Xianghua (a couple) were arrested at their shop on the morning of February 14, 2017, by six officers, including Fan Xiaogang, from Nanchang County Domestic Security Division.
The officers ransacked the shop and forcibly took samples of Mr. Wang's and Ms. Zhang's blood. The couple were detained for 10 days at Nanchang County Detention Center.
10. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Yang Chun Detained
Ms. Yang Chun was arrested on February 28, 2017, and is being held at Xinjian District Detention Center.
11. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Ximei and Ms. Li Liping Arrested
Ms. Zhang Ximei and Ms. Li Liping from Baoding City were arrested on March 10, 2017, by officers from Han Village Police Station while they were distributing Falun Gong materials at Xiyuan Flea Market in Mancheng County.

Ms. Li Yankui and Ms. Fan Lishu were arrested while on a business trip on the morning on March 12, 2017, when police checked vehicles and passenger IDs.
Three plainclothes officers ransacked Ms. Li's home.
Ms. Li and Ms. Fan are being held at the Qianan City Domestic Security Division.

Ms. Li Lianzhi, in her 70s, and Ms. Chun Lian, in her 60s, from Bailixi Village were arrested on the morning of March 12, 2017.

Ms. Sun Li and Ms. Huang Shuqin from Fengcheng City were arrested on the morning of March 11, 2017, for talking to people about Falun Gong.
Ms. Huang was taken to Dandong Detention Center.
