(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Liming from Shenyang City was illegally tried in the Sujiatun District Court on April 7, 2017, and later sentenced to six months in prison. The judge gave her a shorter sentence due to her poor health.

Ms. Li will be released around May 20 since she had been detained for several months prior to her sentencing.

Ms. Li was the deputy principal at the Bayi Town Agricultural School. She was arrested on November 24, 2016 at the Shenyang Train Station for carrying Falun Gong books in her handbag.

Ms. Li has been arrested several times since the communist regime started the persecution of Falun Gong in July 1999. She was incarcerated in the notorious Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for three years where she was tortured. She was also imprisoned in Dabei Prison for five years.
