(Minghui.org) I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1997. Master has been taking care of me this whole time, although I cannot say that I am a diligent practitioner.
On December 10, 2016, my scooter was hit by another speeding scooter at an intersection. I hit the ground and passed out.
My soul left my body and shouted, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I saw my body lying on the ground.
I was taken to a hospital by ambulance and came to during the CT scan. I did not know what had happened, but remembered that I shouted, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” when I had left my body. I firmly believed that Master rescued me.
My husband, mother, and daughter arrived at the hospital. They were shaken and frightened. I comforted them by saying that I was fine because I practice Falun Dafa. I kept repeating, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” in my heart.
I told everyone that I would not stay in the hospital, but nobody listened to me. My husband checked me in and asked me to listen to the doctors because I was seriously injured and bleeding. I refused to have an injection or take oxygen. I demanded to go home.
The doctors told me that I was in serious condition and asked me to cooperate. I did not pay any attention to them, because I knew it was a false manifestation. I was fine, and kept repeating “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I also recited Master's poem:
“A Great Enlightened One fears no hardshipHaving forged an adamantine willFree of attachment to living or dyingHe walks the path of Fa-rectificationconfident and poised” (“Righteous Thoughts and Righteous Actions” from Hong Yin Vol. II)
The next day, the doctors told me that my clavicle was fractured and that I needed surgery. I refused the surgery. They could not understand me.
“You have a fracture in the base of your skull,” the doctors said, “as well as subarachnoid hemorrhage, facial and orbital fractures, multiple rib fractures, and a clavicle fracture. Unless we operate, your future health is completely uncertain.”
But I only had one thought: “Regardless of the diagnoses here, my body in other dimensions was not damaged. I am all right. I am a Falun Dafa practitioner. Master has the final say.”
I am a doctor myself. I knew the consequences were either death or paralysis if I did not follow the doctors' advice. The doctors warned me not to get out of bed. But I knew in my heart that I was a Dafa practitioner who believed in the power of Dafa.
So I decided to practice the exercises at 2 a.m. My husband asked me if I could do it. I told him I could because I was a Dafa practitioner.
He helped me get up. I felt dizzy and the room began spinning. I repeated, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” in my heart. I sat down and did the sitting meditation for one hour. I felt that my body was light.
I was able to get out of bed and went to the toilet on the third day. I discharged black stool for three days. Master was cleansing my body.
I demanded to be discharged from the hospital two days later, but the doctors refused. On the tenth day, I pulled out the IV needles and emptied the medication fluid. The doctors had to let me go. They could not understand how I recovered so quickly and agreed that it was miraculous.
I remember that when I came to on the gurney, I said, “Whether you are righteous God or negative God, please listen carefully. I am a disciple of Master Li Hongzhi. I will show you that I deserve to be His disciple. I will definitively handle things well.”
Somebody asked me if I was scared and I said no.
Master taught us:
“Should you have fear,it will seize upon youIf thoughts are righteous,evil will collapseThe cultivator’s mindis loaded with FaSend righteous thoughts,and rotten demons explodeGods walk the earth,validating the Fa”(What's to Fear in Hong Yin Vol. II)
I still had my mission to complete and the new practitioners needed my help, so I had to live. If this tribulation was because of karma, Master helped me pay it off. I knew I would pass this test with dignity.
If the tribulation was arranged by the old forces and they took advantage of my loopholes, I would not accept their arrangements and would negate them. I would look within, improve my xinxing, and rectify my shortcomings.
While in the hospital, the doctors told me of the severity of my injuries and associated symptoms. I negated all the interference. My body was as solid as diamond.
Through this test I gained a deeper understanding of Master's Fa, “...cultivation depends on one’s own efforts, while transformation of gong is done by one’s master.” (Zhuan Falun)
Only by firmly believing in Master and the Fa, could I pass every test and tribulation successfully.
During this test, my xinxing improved, my karma was reduced, and my righteous thoughts were reinforced. I let go of my fear and validated the Fa. Several people changed their views on Dafa as a result. I told my friends and relatives that Falun Dafa gave me a second life.
My family witnessed the power of Dafa and expressed their gratitude to Master. My husband was deeply moved. He introduced Falun Dafa to a 21-year-old young man who was paralyzed after a car accident. He'd been in the hospital for ten months and spent 500,000 yuan on medical expenses. The young man was almost completely incapacitated. My husband visited him three times and introduced Falun Dafa to him and his family. They were really touched.
The young man recovered very well and was discharged from the hospital one month ago. That family witnessed the power of Dafa and changed their view of Dafa.
On my future cultivation path, no matter how long it is, I will cultivate myself well, look inward for any shortcomings, and rectify them according to the Fa. I will form one body with other practitioners and do the three things well.
Thank you Master for helping me pass this test and tribulation. Master has borne too much for me. Through all of this, I have come to a further understanding of the profundity of Buddha’s infinite grace.

Four years has the wild evil surgedA steady helm has assured the right courseThe Disciples of Fa have gone through evil trialsAnd though great the pressure, their wills are unbowedThere is no affect between master and discipleThe Buddha’s grace remolds Heaven and EarthWhen disciples have ample righteous thoughtsMaster has the power to turn back the tide (“The Master-Disciple Bond” from Hong Yin Vol. II)
