(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Fu Yurong from Nanjing City was arrested for practicing Falun Gong in May 2015. She was put on trial in 2016. However, a verdict has not been issued due to insufficient evidence. She has been detained for over two years.

Xiao Ningjian, head of the Nanjing City Domestic Security Division and six policemen from the Shuangtang Police Station on the morning of May 13, 2015, went to Ms. Fu's home. Police stormed into the home and tried to arrest her, but she dashed into her room and locked the door.

Ms. Fu's family members argued with police for some time. Police accosted her 80-year-old father-in-law. Her three-year-old twin son and daughter were terrified and cried loudly. Her husband and her mother-in-law guarded the door of her room. Police were unable to arrest her.

Those officers left, but their house was surrounded by police. Ms. Fu's arrest was approved by the procuratorate and she was arrested after an 11-day standoff on May 24, 2015.

Ms. Fu Yurong, in her 40s, started to practice Falun Gong in 2014. Her chronic illnesses, including depression, insomnia and rheumatoid arthritis, disappeared after she stepped into this cultivation practice.

Ms. Fu does her best to follow the principles of Falun Gong: Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

“Although she is my daughter-in-law,” her mother-in-law said, “she is so good to us and better than a daughter." Her twin son and daughter are 5 years old now and miss their mother.
