(Minghui.org) Chongqing Women’s Prison is a centralized location used to imprison local residents who refuse to renounce Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline being persecuted by the Chinese communist regime.

The imprisoned Falun Gong practitioners are subjected to different forms of abuse, and some have sustained severe mental and physical damage.

The practitioners are forced to watch videos slandering Falun Gong and then write down their thoughts. They are also ordered to curse Falun Gong and its founder before meals or bed time. Those who defy the order are not allowed to eat, sleep, or use the restroom. Ms. Tan Changrong and Ms. Xiong Hongwei were kept awake until 2 a.m. every night yet still made to get up early in the morning to do hard labor without pay.

Many are also beaten on a regular basis. Ms. Ding Hongwei’s arm was broken after a beating, and the fractures still haven’t healed.

Ms. Wang Zhengfang is now just skin and bones, while Ms. Su Huaizhen is mentally unstable.

Ms. Tang Wanxiu and Ms. Chen Changlan are the two latest victims. They were each sentenced to 2.5 years and admitted to the prison on June 21, 2016.
