1. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Lei Wenzhen Arrested
Ms. Lei Wenzhen was arrested for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong near the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center by officers from the brainwashing center on October 13, 2014.
2. [Beijing] Ms. Cui Hong Tortured
Ms. Cui Hong was transferred from the Beijing No. 1 Detention Center to the Xicheng District Detention Center on September 26, 2014. She was diagnosed with dark shadows in her lungs and high blood pressure, with readings of 190 over 120.
3. [Huangchuan County, Henan Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Fan Baoying and Ms. Baozhen were arrested for distributing materials about Falun Gong on October 12, 2014.
4. [Meihekou City, Jilin Province] Mr. Su Yashan Tortured
Mr. Su Yashan is being held in the Meihekou City Detention Center. He was tortured and had a black hood put over his head for three days and nights.
5. [Yongji County, Jilin Province] Ms. Dou Cuifang Held in Brainwashing Center
Officers from the Yongji County Domestic Security Division and the Chengnan Police Station broke into Ms. Dou Cuifang's home and arrested her on the morning of October 10, 2014. The officers confiscated Falun Gong books and other items. She is being held in the Shulan City Brainwashing Center.
6. [Jintan City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Xu Hongfang Detained
Ms. Xu Hongfang was arrested by officers from the Zhixi Town Police Station on the afternoon of October 10, 2014. The officers searched her home and confiscated Falun Gong books and materials. She is being held in the Changzhou Detention Center.
7. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Cong Shuxun Sentenced to Prison
Mr. Cong Shuxun was sentenced to four years in prison by the Lushun Court.
