(Minghui.org) I recently read an article by a fellow practitioner. It read, “Once in a dream, Dafa disciples were given an exam by divine beings. One of the questions was: 'What is the cultivation practice form of Falun Dafa?'” I thought practitioners would have no problem answering this question.

I mentioned this article to a practitioner who did truth clarification work with me. I asked her if she could answer the question. She said, “We cultivate in human society.” I asked about 12 other practitioners the same question. One of them thought for quite a while before saying, “Our form of cultivation practice must be saving people.” She thought more and said, “It is 'The Great Way has no form'.” (“Teaching the Fa in San Francisco, 2005”)

All the practitioners I asked the question of are all doing the three things. Some of them attempted to answer the question by citing subheadings from Zhuan Falun , such as “Transformation of Karma,” or “The Cosmic Language” while others simply could not answer it.

Dafa disciples all know that Master has always taught us, “Study the Fa more” and “Study the Fa well.” Then how do we study the Fa? Some of us cannot even hold in their hearts the Fa that is clearly laid out before us. I have participated in several Fa study groups. I have even seen practitioners compete with each other by trying to read more paragraphs. Some became unhappy when they only read short paragraphs; some even argued with each other.

If we study the Fa like this, we are not cultivating our xinxing and we are not getting rid of our human attachments. Wouldn't Master be saddened by this behavior? Even for newly graduated students applying for jobs, going through interviews and some form of examination is mandatory. We are practitioners trying to become divine beings, which is bound to be much more difficult than anything in human society.

I've wanted to write this article for many days, but did not. Today I've finally written it and hope it can serve as a reminder to fellow practitioners. My motivation is to share my understanding so that we will start to truly study the Fa well.
