(Minghui.org) Although the old forces are being eliminated in great numbers and many perpetrators involved in the persecution of Falun Dafa have met with retribution, the persecution still continues and the number of practitioners arrested in 2014 was higher than in 2013.
This could be the result of some practitioners still not being rational in their behavior and conduct, enabling the old forces to take advantage of their loopholes and persecute them.
The following are some examples:
When some practitioners have tried to talk to people about Falun Dafa and the persecution, they talk at a high level that others cannot understand or believe.
A practitioner once sang songs by Falun Dafa practitioners on a bus and didn't stop when the driver asked him to. As a result, the driver called the police.
One practitioner went out to put up informational stickers about the persecution of Falun Dafa and saw a man standing in front of a wall where she wanted to put up a sticker. She went up to the man, pulled him aside and put the sticker on the wall. This person was a plainclothes police officer. The practitioner was arrested and taken to the detention center. The police officer even commented, “I didn't intend to arrest her, but she walked up and pulled me away.”
One practitioner didn't follow the traffic laws. When he saw a red light he pressed hard on the accelerator, and said, “Nobody can stop a Dafa practitioner's path!”
These are just a few examples of practitioners going to extremes in their behavior and conduct and not leaving a good impression on others. How can we save sentient beings if we behave so irrationally?
Falun Dafa practitioners have the greatest mission to save sentient beings. Our responsibility is huge. We need to be careful to do it well.
We need to consider the other's mindset when talking about Falun Dafa and exposing the nature of the Chinese Communist Party. We also must consider their age, gender, profession, education etc... We need compassion to save sentient beings, so it is improper and impractical to talk about universal principles at a high level when people may not believe in these things.
Some fellow practitioners are too extreme in daily life, and appear to be irrational. The issue not only causes interference in their own cultivation, but also invokes persecution from the old forces. The loss is too big.
Master Li taught us to “Validate the Fa with rationality, clarify the truth with wisdom, spread the Fa and save people with mercy...” (“Rationality” in Essentials for Further Advancement II).
We should bear this in mind at all times and follow it.
