(Minghui.org) “The Communist Party must be disintegrated or the people have no future. We support withdrawals from the Party,” said a man in his sixties from Hubei Province while he read poster boards at Ruifeng Night Market in Kaohsiung.

The boards were set up by Falun Gong practitioners to inform Chinese tourists about the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s violent persecution of the peaceful practice. Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and talked to Chinese tourists visiting the market.

Ruifeng Market is one of the busiest in Kaohsiung. Busloads of tourists from the mainland come to taste well-known Taiwanese snacks and experience the local nightlife.

Chinese tourists examine poster boards detailing the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China.

“Can You Tell Me Where I Can Quit the Communist Party?”

Two Chinese tourists asked Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Hsie, “Can you tell me where I can quit the Communist Party?”

“I'm a volunteer to help people withdraw from the Party. I can help you,” replied Ms. Hsie.

The tourist excitedly handed Ms. Hsie a piece of paper with her name and said, “Please help me withdraw from the Party. I hope Taiwanese people can help more from the mainland learn about the beauty of Falun Gong. We didn't know Falun Gong is good until we came abroad.”

Many Chinese tourists agreed to quit the Party after just a short chat. Practitioner Mr. Guan told a group of tourists about the persecution when he noticed a man listening quietly nearby. Mr. Guan asked him, “Can I help you to quit the Party?” The man smiled and nodded. He quit the Communist Youth League.

Once, an unfriendly tourist asked practitioner Ms. Huang for information materials. After Ms. Huang explained the persecution to her, the tourist changed her attitude and expressed concern. She said, “The Party is too bad. Help me quit the Party!”

Tour Guide: “Let Them Learn the Facts They Can't Know in China”

A tour guide told practitioner Mr. Guan, “There are 40 people on this coach. Give me 40 copies of your materials. I'll give one to each of them and let them learn the facts they can't obtain in China.”

Some in mainland China, however, have managed to overcome the censorship. When Ms. Chen handed materials to a group of young tourists from Guangdong, one of them said, “We visit your websites using a program to get around the firewall. We've all renounced the Youth League.”

Atheist: “I Believe Now. Help Me Quit the Party.”

A young man read the poster boards for quite a while before asking practitioner Mr. Guo, “I don't believe in divine beings, since I can't see them. Do you have evidence to convince me?”

“You inhale air every day, and you don't see the air. Does air exist? It does not mean there are no divine beings even if you cannot see them,” answered Mr. Guo.

“I went abroad and saw many temples and churches in America, Japan, and Taiwan. Many people believe in gods,” said the young man.

He continued, “Not seeing them doesn't mean they don't exist. I heard from friends that people practice Falun Gong overseas. I couldn't believe anyone dares to practice it. Seeing these poster boards and so many kind Falun Gong practitioners, I believe it now. Help me quit the Party. Thank you!”
