(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 7 provinces. According to this report, 7 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 14 were illegally arrested. Several practitioners seeking to mail letters of complaint regarding Jiang Zemin to the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Supreme Court have met with obstacles.

1. [Shaoyang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Huang Xinsheng Persecuted to Death
Mr. Huang Xinsheng, from Shaoyang City, Hunan Province, passed away on October 10, 2012, due to persecution. Mr. Huang was arrested and taken to the Hongwei Police Station in 2011, for telling to people that it is legal to practice Falun Gong. He was later detained at the Hunan Province No. 3 Prison for 15 days. While he was detained, he was brutally persecuted. As a result, his hair turned gray and he developed numerous illnesses. After he was released, he was taken to hospital for treatment
2. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Huang Lanying and another elderly practitioner were arrested and taken to the Guanganjie Police Station in Changan District on July 21, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. The elderly one was released the next day and Ms. Huang was taken to the Nanhuochang Detention Center.

3. [Huainan City, Anhui Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Zhao Shunu, Ms. Fang Kezhen, and Ms. Sun Shuying were arrested by officers from the Pingshan Police Station on July 17, 2015, for mailing criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin, the former head of the Chinese Communist Party. They were later transferred to the Huainan City Detention Center.

4. [Beijing] Ms. Chen Hongmin Detained
Ms. Chen Hongmin, arrested on May 12, 2015, is detained at the Fengtai District Detention Center.
5. [Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province] Mr. Wen Jian Arrested
Mr. Wen Jian was arrested and his home was ransacked on July 27, 2015, after he distributed informational brochures about the persecution of Falun Gong.
6. [Yongji County, Jilin Province] Mr. Yang Chenghua Detained
Mr. Yang Chenghua, 51, was arrested officers from the Chaluhe Town Police Department including director Man (满) on July 27, 2015. The police ransacked his home. He was detained at the Yongji County Detention Center.

7. [Tianjin] Mr. Zhao Ke and Ms. Liu Fuzhen Detained
Mr. Zhao Ke was arrested on July 23, 2015. He was detained at the Wuqing District Detention Center for 15 days. Ms. Liu Fuzhen was arrested and taken to the Tianjin City No. 1 Detention Center for a 15-day detention term.
8. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wang Jianying Arrested
Mr. Wang Jianying was arrested by officers from the Gongzhuling Domestic Security Division on July 27, 2015. The police confiscated his computers, printers, and personal items.
9. [Pi County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yang Youhua Arrested
Ms. Yang Youhua was arrested by officers from the Ande Police Station on May 29, 2015, for distributing informational DVDs about the persecution of Falun Gong. While detained at that police station, she was brutally beaten. She was later released.
10. [Tongling City, Anhui Province] Ms. Huang Yue Arrested
Ms. Huang Yue was arrested and her home was ransacked on July 20, 2015.
11. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Xu Shouyan Detained
Mr. Xu Shouyan, 50, was arrested at his workplace by officers from the Qianjin Police Station on July 27, 2015. The police confiscated his Falun Gong books, laptop computer, and personal items. He was detained at that police station for 15 days.
12. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Lichun Arrested
Ms. Wang Lichun was recently arrested by officers from the Taoyuan Village Police Station in Hexi District.
13. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Two Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Qi Baoyan and Ms. Wu Yun were arrested on July 24, 2015. Ms. Wu was later released and Ms. Qi is still detained.
14. [Shanghai] Ms. Shao Yuling Detained
Ms. Shao Yuling, in her 60s, was arrested on July 19, 2015. She is detained at the Pudong Detention Center.
15. [Mulan County, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Zhang Qingmei, Mr. An Liguang, and Ms. Guan Zhongling were arrested at home and taken to the Xinmin Police Station on July 23, 2015.
Mr. An was detained at the Mulan County Detention Center for ten days. Ms. Guan was detained in Harbin City for 15 days. Ms. Zhang escaped.
